We started off our trip stopping at the Museum of Clean. We took our lunch and ate on the grass before we went it and the Mr. Clean himself stopped and said hi to us and our kids. It was a fun museum and they did a great job of making it fun.
We decided with some light left to hit some of the bigger stops near our campground. So we loaded up and headed to the lower geyser basin for their first viewings of hot pots and geysers.
Then we decided to head to Old Faithful. We got lucky and got there right before it went off. It was pretty windy so I don't think we got the "full" affect, but it was one check on the bucket list. My favorite part, that ended up being pretty tough with my knee and someone needing to pee halfway through, was our walk around the boardwalk by Old Faithful. The sun was going down and it was BEAUTIFUL! I had to sit several times with all the pain that I had and not realizing how far it was to get back. But, we made it!
Graham spent the first night snuggling with daddy to keep warm.
