August Randoms

Makayla moved up to intermediate in gymnastics and has had fun starting to learn new things. She has been working on her backhand springs on the tramp and is getting better and better!

Garrett was baptized at the beginning of August. It was a weird and fun thing to have some of the family viewing it by zoom from the house and a few at the church with the limit on numbers that could attend. We love Garrett and it was fun to celebrate his decision to get baptized with him.
Later that day we went and tested out the Johnson's new go-cart. It was obviously a big hit!

We spend quite a few evenings outside with Boomer, the garden, and just playing. We had quite the successful attempt at zuchinni, squash, tomatoes, snap peas, and green beans this year.

The older 3 kids got to go down for a grandma and grandpa sleepover with all the older cousins. They had a blast doing several activities and sleeping over all together. It was a fun way to end the summer!

Millie got a much needed haircut!
We started some season soccer games.
The long awaited day for Nate to start soccer. He was WAY excited and has had a lot of fun. It took him a little to warm up to the idea. He is definitely defensive brained and stops everything that heads his way. He did have a game or two so far where he was all over the place. He is loving it!

Zack got to go to a birthday party at Get Air for his friend Andrew. Dan serves with his dad in the bishopric and we just love their family. Well, the place didn't communicate the night they scheduled to go in. Turns out they ended up with the place to themselves for 2 hours and he had an absolute blast!

Levi found a primantis and made it a pet. The kids went bug catching many of days to find food for the guy. It was countless hours of entertainment! Even neighbor kids were bringing it bugs. Too funny!

They decided not to allow face shields at their school, but we got prepared with every option for this Kindergartner!
We got to head down one Sunday to celebrate Bumpa's bday. These kids obviously LOVE their Bumpa!
Small world, but I played soccer for most of my soccer days with Stephanie Garner and Andrew was friends with her older sister in high school. Well, after Levi joined a new team I saw Megan (Stephanie's sister) and apparently our boys are on the same team.
Dan spent like 5 hours and a few trips to the parts store, but he got our riding lawn mower working! It hadn't been started in well over a year.
Millie loves to snuggle and she will definitely let you know when she wants to!
I accidentally drove off without my credit card at Sonic one day. So, the older boys got lucky to come on a late night run over to get it and another slushy to go with it!

Cool down after a hot soccer practice!

We drove to the new Syracuse temple site. It is about 1.5 miles from our house. We are way excited!!!
My little helper in my slow recovery for my hurt knee.
Levi's team played in the Strikers tournament and the Adidas tournament. They ended up taking second in the Adidas tournament. They played so hard! I love watching my boys play!
Makayla's friend Sydney is a cute little busy body, and she is so fun for Makayla. She gets her doing stuff that mom doesn't. They decided to do a lemonade stand one day. It was Makayla's dream to do one and she finally got to! She has some super cute little friends and tons of girls to make up for her lack of a sister.
