Nathan's 5th Birthday

With some craziness going on with the COVID-19 flaring up and earthquakes, it has been nice to have some positives to focus on. Nathan's birthday was one of those days! He was lucky enough to be able to sneak in some fun before everything closed. We started the day off going to Kangaroo Zoo. We almost had the place to ourselves and the boys ran around like crazies! We headed home and let him open his Lego present and built that. When the kids and dad were home, we grabbed some of his requested dinner of In-N-Out. We came home and did his presents and doughnut cake (his favorite). What can we say about our Nate? You can just tell by the expressions on this kid that he is a happy guy! HE has an excitement for life that is just contagious. He is a softy and a tender hearted boy. He is kind to everyone and really is just the sweetest. Him and Graham have a brotherly love that consists of wrestling, cars, Dinos, and many other games. They are like little inseperable twins throughout the day. I am glad Graham has him to help pave the way. Nate is patient (most of the time), and he has worked so hard this year at school. He is doing Upstart, Preschool, and Reading Lessons at home. He is going to be very ready for Kindergarten. He seems to pick up on things quickly and is a social little guy. He has had a good neighbor friend named Kyclee in his Preschool class which has been fun for him. We just love him and the smiles he brings to our family. His latest trick of burping on command sure gets our kids giggling at the table. We will just hope some of our manners lessons go with them when they leave the house!
