Makayla turned 7 on the 18th of April. She had a plan for a friend party to go get their nails painted a few months before. Plans can sure change! This time for the better. She had her cousins come spend the night and spend her birthday helping her celebrate. We started off with the morning fun and headed over to Antelope Island. This time however, the biting gnats were TERRIBLE! We breezed through the hike and luckily found that by the beach they were nonexistent. So, the kids spent quite a bit of time playing there. Then we loaded up and headed back. We got Texas Roadhouse for her dinner. Then the Johnson's brought some fun confetti eggs the kids played with. We opened her presents and did cake and ice cream. You can tell by her face just how excited she was and how much she enjoys being center of attention. It was too cute! Before the Johnson's left the cute girls gave Makayla her pedicure she missed. It was very cute of them. She had a great day! Makayla is growing up so quickly. She loves to make believe and can be found playing house, dolls, and made up games often. She loves dolls right now, so she got some doll stuff for her birthday. She has been kicking buns at learning to tumble more and is getting stronger and stronger. She has a tender heart. I have loved our nightly time to read together. She loves to talk talk talk when it is time for bed. She is a great story teller and such a fun girl to be around. She is a good big sister and can definitely hold her own against all these boys. We love her sweet self and had fun celebrating her!
