My kids kind of finished their homework a little early, but wrapped up their online work Friday the 15th and we picked up all their school stuff on Monday the 18th. It was a super weird end of the year. My heart broke for Levi and all the end of Elementary school lasts he will never get back. A graduation, DARE, Robotics Competition, Last Recess, Last Yearbook signing, ect. He handled it all like a champ! His teachers made some fun things for the kids too. Makayla finished her school work like 3 weeks ago, minus a small habitat project. She was happy to be done and after some battles at the beginning of the year, she has come to realize how much she misses school and her friends. She absolutely adored her teacher. Zack was bummed he had the coolest teacher, Mr. Rocchio, and didn't even get to have him the entire year. He did well with all of it at home though. He had days where he was slower at getting it done, but he always did and with little help from mom. Nathan did his final assessment for his online preschool UPSTART. He rarely ever complained and it helped solidify a lot of his letter sounds and bleeding skills. He is ready for Kindergarten! I was sad he missed his graduation as well. I wouldn't trade it all for the fun we have had the last few months, but it still takes a little of the excitement out of that last day feeling!!! On to SUMMER!!!!

Fernwood Wildflower Excursion
We set out on a wildflower excursion up at the Fernwood Trail in Layton. Kids had fun trying to find all different colors. It was not a long excursion, but we are having fun exploring all different kinds of hikes and walks these days!
Mother's Day 2020
It was a good day. Kids and dad got me breakfast in bed. We did church at home, then packed up and headed down south. We spent the rest of the day at Bumpa and Grandma's. The kids hadn't seen some of their cousins for quite awhile. It was fun to catch up and see everyone in person. We grabbed a quick picture at the end, and Krista had already headed home again. So, we took another one with a picture of her to tease her with! We love our mama's and I feel so lucky to have them and for these 5 kiddos who love me no matter if I feel like I fall short. Much of what I do is for them and I absolutely love each of them and feel so blessed to have them.
Mother's Day Weekend Swimming with Bada
We spend several hours the Saturday before Mother's Day swimming at the Stevenson's with Bada. It was so much fun. The kids were all too excited to get back to swimming! The Stevenson's were out of town and Bada spoiled us with some Pizza Pie Cafe and we got to just chill for a few hours. Can't wait for more days just like that!
