31!!!

Mom and dad were great and headed up to give Dan and I a much needed date. We take some dates, but Graham usually accompanies us. It was nice to leave them all home and go try something new. We went axe throwing! Sounds weird, but it was super fun! There was only one other couple there so we got our own lanes. After a brief tutorial on how to throw, we went at it. They had several games for us to play. After the first quick one we both had it down to where it was rare for us not to stick the axe. We were then starting to compete with point and who got closer to the bulls eye. The couple next to us were on a date, and I was trying hard not to laugh as the guy was keeping score and the girl literally NEVER stuck her axe more than like 3-5 times the entire hour. He was over there diligently keeping his score. It was so funny! Anyways, Dan was even hitting the tiny green dots worth 10 points, and the lady said she had only hit that like 4 times ever and he did it in one game. I hit it once, I had to throw that in there:) She told us we should join their league night and that she was impressed at how fast we caught on. I couldn't decided whether she was actually serious or if it really isn't all that hard. We were seriously hitting bulls eyes every other throw and 3's on the others. We stopped for some Farr's Ice Cream by the temple there and headed home. We ate out with Grandma and Grandpa at Texas Roadhouse before they left and then we took the kids to the aquarium since it was right there. It was a great way to start off being 31!

This was from a different aquarium trip. We don't go much when school starts and they just love that place!
