First Day of School 2018-19

I have more pictures to add later, but for now. First day of 5th for Levi. He has Mrs. Sullenger, who was Zack's teacher in 1st grade. We like her! He was NOT excited to go till the first day. Then he was! He has some of his friends in his class so that helps. The excitement has worn off a tad, but he still enjoys it.
Zack was excited for school, not structure, but school! He is in 3rd Grade and has Mrs. Bushell. He like her so far! He has some friends in his class and seems to be sliding right back into the groove of things.

Makayla had testing the first day of school, but her actually first day was the next Monday. She was SOOOOOO excited to finally go with the big boys. I was a wreck inside, and just prayed that she would be tough or mom might melt. She has LOVED it! I am so glad! She gives me big hugs and a kiss and waltzes right in everyday. She is starting to make new friends and tells me way more about school than the boys ever did. We love her and are so excited for her! She had Mrs. Porto, who also taught both of the boys. We have really liked their school and I know they will all have a great year!

Picture day. Girl uniforms are so much more fun!

Rest of August

Spent a night down in Saratoga after camping to squeeze in one last trip down before school started! We hit up the new park, dinner, and some of the kids slept at Kellie's house. We will just say that Makayla missed her mama at about 3am:)

Real Salt Lake Camp. It was free, but we probably wont do it again. They just scrimmaged the entire time. Cool part was Zack and Makayla ended up in the newspaper!

Contacting the lady who sold our friends Millie. She sent me a picture of her dog, Millie's brother. I loved it!!!
 Pumpkins are a comin!
This little rascal is a tad mischievous and he knows it. He has the funniest half grin to prove it!

This girl had some "playdates" with a dog named MacDaddy. We are hoping there are some little Goldendoodle puppies a cooking. We will soon find out!
 Soccer games official begun!
Homegrown potatoes. Can you tell we have loved having a garden this year??
Sunday night shenanigans. We cut their hair the next day.

Squeezed in a last swim at the Stevenson's before school started!

Zack picked his first watermelon, that he bought, planted, and helped water. He was so proud of that thing! Too bad it ended up being the seeded ones. We have seedless growing too. Kids had no idea what to do with the seeds. Spoiled I tell ya!
Burkholder dinner in West Valley with an epic game of kickball.

 New hair!

Nate learned how to ride without training wheels. He is not even 3 1/2 and he is cruising around like a crazy pants. Balance bikes are amazing. He just took off. Took a day or two to figure out how to get started and for mom to realize the tires were a tad flat and he was gone!
Zack LOVES to pogo stick. He has a record of over 400 and can do it without hands!

Soccer Saturday has begun! We had 3 games we were scrambling around to get to Saturday and will for most Saturdays for the next month or so. We split and conquer and survived and all 3 were wins! I am coaching Makayla's cute little girls team. Her and her friend Aleeyah play together.

Got my box of pears and canned them. My kids LOVE canned pears, and so do I!

 Digging up potatoes for dinner.
Zack made it all the way around our cul-de-sac (circle part) on his pogo stick!
Wendy's prize for the win. Nate walked around the soccer fields with it on:)
Took all 5 kids to the dentist by myself. I was terrified with Graham, but he was an angel. Makayla came out with these sweet teeth as her prize!
