Levi's 9th Birthday

We gave Levi his big present a few days before since we were heading up to Logan for a soccer tournament and I was thinking I may have to leave him at the warmups before the game and wouldn't mind him having something to get ahold of me with. He was so excited to get his Gizmo watch!

On his birthday I woke them up early and we headed over to the Clinton City days races. They did the kids mile. They weren't timed and I failed to time them, but they both did great! Levi came in right behind some older kids in a running club and Zack came in a minute or so later. He didn't eat before (forgot his granola bar), anyways, he didn't know what he signed himself up for, and I was proud of him for getting all the way through it! He may take some convincing to do it again, but I think he did really well!

 When we got home we let Levi open his other present. A swivel bike. They had some fun building that and trying it out.

 He wanted to swim, of course.

 As requested, In-N-Out. He got his first double double and was more than thrilled!

 Cupcakes and ice cream for our oldest. I am still in shock that he is 9!

 I took the boys out of bed to come out and watch the Clinton City fireworks from our backyard. When all was said and done, I'd say it was a pretty great day celebrating a really great kid. We love our Levi! I'll have to do a 9 year post on him when I get his stats.
