With Zack's upcoming surgery, we were lucky to come across a temple appointment to do baptisms for the dead. He was so excited! We got up super early, thanks to Bada coming to stay with the littler kids. Dan baptized us all and the rest of us got to be witnesses for each other. Such a neat experience coming with your kids! As we were finishing up a temple worker got a little choked up and told us our family had a sweet spirit with us. I just love those sweet temple workers and the time in the temple. It was a great start to the day and a great peaceful feeling. Zack really needed this to look forward to with his surgery looming. It was a light in the dark and it definitely helped him through this tough time. I am grateful for the temple for many things, but that day was a reminder of the importance and the blessing it is to be able to attend.
