Makayla had a minor cold a few days before her parotid glands went berserk. Our February was a tad rocky to say it nicely. It was so sad looking and to be honest, it freaked me out a bit! I had heard of lymph nodes swelling up pretty good, but man it was like a tennis ball huge. Anyways, we ended up taking her into an instacare to make sure it was not an abscess. She had Parotiditis, swelling of her salivatory gland. So she got some antibiotics and was told to eat sour candy to help activate the salivatory gland. After we knew it would go down in a day or so, then we had some fun with it. She would run in a room yelling, "Here comes fat face!!!!" She looked so sadly distorted it was awful. The first day she swelled up it was causing her quite a bit of pain. When we got back from the dinner that night from Zack's bday dinner she laid down and Millie ran straight over to her (which is strange when we just get home she is usually running around a little excited). She laid by her till Kayla perked up a bit. It was sweet.
I LOVE that they put Zack in the tall kid row:) Can't say we grow them tall, but they are pretty dang cute! So is the coach!

Levi game home telling us he was struggling to read the board from the back of the class....dun dun dun! We took him in to get checked and sure enough, he is a tad nearsighted. He is a mini dad that is for certain!
Levi had his 5th Grade Informance. They did the Wright Brothers. It was pretty cute, but Levi made it much cuter!
