The next morning we headed out to the Shoshone Ice Caves. We were the only ones in our tour, which was kinda fun. While we waited we explored their tiny museum and the random dinosaurs outside. The lava tubes created the Ice Cave. The kids loved hiking in a cave and it was just short enough that the kids did it easily. It was a fun new adventure!
Graham got good at napping on the road. We stopped for another picnic at a park and then suited up for some swimming in the lake we saw by the Shoshone Falls. It was a tad chilly, but the kids didn't mind one bit. The boys had to pass a swim test to swim out in the center. I was a little worried about Zack, but he made it! It is a little different swimming in a bottomless lake and some small waves! They littler ones had fun making sand castles probably the most! We attracted several kids with our sand toys:) It was a fun couple hours. We decided to take some time and eat out for the night and get a good nights rest since we were all so tired!
