Idaho Trip Day 2

We got up and headed out to rent our sand sleds and hit the dunes before it got too hot. The hikes up the hill were a tad difficult, but the boys sure loved the ride down! The key for me was sunglasses and to keep your mouth closed! They had fun sledding, running, rolling, sliding, and any other way they could think of to get down the hill. Sand was EVERYWHERE! It was so much fun. We played till our legs were too tired and the sand was getting a little hot. Then we headed back to rinse off in the showers and finished packing up.

On our route to Twin Falls we stopped at a campground/park by Balance Rock. It was a beautiful park and a perfect place for a picnic lunch. We climbed up the short trail to balanced rock after playing around at the park for a bit.

Then off to the hotel! The first thing on the list was swimming so we could really get that sand out!

For dinner, we grabbed some pizza and had a picnic lunch at the park by the Shoshone Falls. They were a sight to see! Next stop, Niagra! It was a good day!
