We are so ready for summer! We did all things summer this weekend! We got the yard ready, pool up, and late night with games on the side of the house.
Afterwards, we took the kids to the aquarium. They had a balloon guy there, saw the princesses, saw the bird and octopus show, fed the birds, tingrays, and octopus, and held big parrots. It was a fun time! We love that aquarium. You never know what they will have out when you go.
That night Dan took the 3 older kids to hit a bucket of balls.
We convinced Andrew's family to join us Sunday evening. We grilled up some yummy food, took the kids for a walk/played outside, and they had a sleepover. We stayed up way too late playing games. The next day we took the kids to the park and to play soccer. Followed by lunch. They love their cousins and it is so fun spending quality time with them!
Kids slept on the way to the Stevenson's that afternoon for a Burkholder dinner/party. It was raining so we hit up the church for a big old dodgeball game. Nate got one to the face, but overall it was WAY fun! After some yummy food the kids were crazy enough to go swimming and LOVED it! Can't wait for plenty of more evenings spent the same way this summer. We love our families and it was a great weekend spending time with them!
