Our little princess graduated from preschool in May. It blows me away that this tiny thing is headed to Kindergarten next year. I have the hardest time thinking she is really that old already!!! She loved preschool. She had a great teacher and her school was just all around a great experience. She went with 4 other kids in our ward that we carpooled with and they all became such cute friends. Her school was on a farm so they had fun in the spring with the baby animals. They even gave them horse trophies and actual horse racing ribbons from the farm horses (the teachers dad's). They hatched chickens in their classroom, butterflies, lady bugs, and even saw a horse be born. Her teachers worked hard at getting these kids well rounded for Kindergarten and I was impressed by her growth. Makayla also did the UPSTART program online for 20 minutes 5 days a week. She got all gold medals every month and I feel like it helped her blend words so fast. We work on our reading lessons at home, which are not her favorite. I feel like this girl is ready for Kindergarten! She is our social butterfly who walks up to kids at the park and says, "Hi! I am Makayla, what's your name?" Her program was so cute and beside her lifting her skirt up a couple of times a tad too high (thank heavens for shorts underneath!), it was super cute! Grandma and grandpa came and we got a treat afterwards to celebrate. We love our sweet and sassy little girl and we are so excited for her. Big things to come from this cute little thing! Class of 2031!!!!
