After getting back from our trip we got to work on setting a day for this kid to get tubes. He feels MUCH better now, but we have to keep him from perforating anymore. So, he is set for a week from Friday. Wish us luck! For now he is weaning off of nursing and getting ready to turn 1!!!!!!
Just grocery shopping:)We have been SO excited about the weather lately. The kids have had several friends over to play for hours OUTSIDE!!! It has been fantastic! We needed this weather after two back to back colds, croup, and ear infections!
This sassy pants, is a daddy's girl big time!!!! She wants her daddy ALL. THE. TIME. Makes it a little difficult on daddy. It does make me glad we head Nate before this stage!
Bubbles never get old and we are just soaking up the rays!
I get my braces off in a few weeks and I could not be more excited about it!
Kellie gave Zack Shrinkydinks for his birthday and we have done a zillion since!
The kids had their reading contest assembly. Zack won a ribbon for being top reader in his class, a medal for reading a certain number of minutes (Levi got that too!), but to top it off they entered raffles and each were given a certain number of tickets based on how many minutes they read. Of the entire school he won one of 4-5 and got a bag of books and prizes. When I picked him up from school he said, "Mom, I can't walk fast. My backpack is full of prizes." Best day of school EVER!
Makayla and her bestie. Those two are so cute together!
Nate will not take a binky when he is in bed anymore. I am thinking of just tossing it when he is done nursing. He is so good at going down for naps (when his ears don't hurt)!
More walks around the duck pond, bikes, and chalk. Have I said how much we love being outside?! I swear we have been out there everyday for a few hours! Nate loves to push his push toys back and forth along the driveway and across the lawn.
My little Dora the Explorer. She is too stinking cute!
We love family Sundays. It is SO nice to have daddy home for more than a few hours. We had WWF wrestling, steam roller, and dart war. They have such a fun daddy and I just love my family time! Oh and Nate is standing for moments at a time...with no help. He is almost a walker!!!!
Someday I will be happy I did this. I went around and took pictures of most of our house. I wished I would have with some of our other places we lived. It may not be super clean, or brand new, or have the nicest stuff, but I LOVE our home. There are plenty of projects, but it is ours. So when we move on someday, and things change. Here it is right now!
