Our happy buddy!
We got some curtains so our neighbors can't see us until we can get some blinds put in:)
We have had quite a bit of snow this month! We didn't even have a chance of school being cancelled and they had a late start for a day that didn't even need it! But, the kids have had some fun!
Dear Zack was asked to go turn the lights off downstairs. He somehow forgot that we had installed lightswitches, but remembered how dad had worked the light BEFORE that. We were sitting upstairs getting the 2 littles shoes and coats on, Levi was starting the car, when all of a sudden light just started shutting off. Levi comes running in, "the garage just went black!" Dan goes running downstairs, "Oh shoot, Zack!" Zack had started at the top of the breaker board and just started flipping the breakers until the basement light turned off:) Needless to say, we had a safety discussion following that!!!!
We have the best people in our ward/neighborhood. This Christmas I have really felt it and I am so grateful for it. We had a neighbor who stopped us while we were getting our mail and offered up his old snowblower, which still worked the nose just didn't move. So, we got a snow blower for Christmas:) It was so nice of them! They would not take any money so we slipped them a movie gift card, which still does not even come close.
Zack had a virtual nutcracker at school. They dressed their best, got their tickets punched, and watched part of the Nutcracker at school, followed by a white elephant. he looked so handsome!
This is the face of a kid who has a perforated eardrum and an infected one on the other side....
Us waiting at the doctor to get some antibiotics for this poor little man!
We pretend it is summer sometimes:)
"Mom, yeeeve!" She gives the best grump faces ever.
This guy is ALL over the place these days and gets caught in all sorts of predicaments.
We had so much fun shoveling and building a snowman on one of our snowy days before Christmas!
We have had such nice break being together and spending time playing games, making cookies, watching Christmas movies, and just playing.
We went to the church one evening and played basketball and the line game.
I have gone through a few partners in my short year and a half of teaching Sunday school and Dan has joined me quite often! He was helping me this week and even got Nate to sleep while teaching. I thought it was a cute sight to see that little slouched over little guy. I LOVE teaching with Dan and I hope someday we will get the chance. He is such a good teacher and it is fun to learn more about him while he does. I learn new things every time! He is very good with the youth and I can tell that he is in tune with the spirit just by the way he teaches. He is my rock and I love having his support and help in my calling. I am grateful I have someone to lean on when I am tired and someone who holds me up and helps build me up instead of tearing me down. He is who I want by my side and I am so grateful that he is!
