1st Day of School!

The Sunday night before school we ran down for dinner and a quick new school clothes fashion show for all the kids that were there. My boys got to choose from 4 colors of polos, but they still had fun wearing their new gear! Kellie and I showed them how it was done first:)

Levi started last Tuesday. He was slightly nervous since it was a new school. I kept reassuring him that it was the SAME people, just a new place. We got to walk through the school the night before and see his teachers. We also had our annual Father's blessing the night before as well. That morning we started the day off with the traditional Poptarts for breakfast! As we lined up in the morning I heard, "Hi, Levi!" about 15 times. After seeing all his friends and his old teachers, I could tell that he felt more at home. That in turn made mom feel better about leaving him! He had a good first week and he has a couple of great team teachers this year, Mrs. Goddard and Mrs. Bybee. The new school is amazing, they are even putting an amphitheater in the back of the school. Each of the kids have a locker as well, which they were SO excited about. Here is to a great year for Levi!

Zack has been waiting for this day ever since Levi went to Kindergarten. He has been dying to go to school like Levi. Welp, all too quickly he is! He started on Monday this week. He had orientation and Kinder testing last week, which he passed with flying colors. He has the same teacher as Levi, Mrs. Porto, who we loved. He was so excited, which made it easier to drop him off. I kept asking if he was nervous and he was like, "Nope!" He was all smiles the day I dropped him off. I was anxious to pick him up afterwards and see what he thought. He told me all about his day and was very excited to go back the next day and make some new friends! I wish I had his confidence! Mom shed her tears last week when it hit me that he was going. I swear he was just as small as Nate! He is so ready and I am so happy that he is excited and having so much fun in school though!
