Day 5-6

Our last morning there we decided to use our Magic Morning. They all went to Space Mountain and I took Zack and Makayla on Finding Nemo. Afterwords we headed over to breakfast at Carnation Cafe on Mainstreet. It was fun to slow down and eat watching all the people come in. The kids liked their Mickey waffles and the food was not too bad!!

After breakfast we headed over to California Adventure to get Racer fast passes, since they were the boy's favorite. We ended up not getting them till 2-3 and Grandma and Granpa had to take off before then. So we wander over to the Tower of Terror. Levi had been wanting to ride it all week! Makayla feel asleep so I waited with her and then took her to Bug's land while they were riding it.

The boys joined us on a Bug's Life ride. After that we went to the Bug's Life show. Mom and Dad had to leave at that point...boo. We continued on over to Toy Story ride again, another favorite. Then the swings and Ariel's Grotto. We had done that one once before and it was once of the ones inside that Zack like the most, so we did it again!
Then over to the Racers!

The boys wanted to do Autotopia, but by this time we were wearing down and tired and didn't want to walk over to Disney and wait for Fast Passes, plus a family pass. So... we talked them into the Bug's Life cars and they were happy just to be able to drive them. I also rode the tractor ride in Carsland with them before heading out.

 We then offered to go back to Disneyland or go swimming and get pizza since we were getting hungry. The boys voted swimming and we voted for an earlier night so we could get an early start in the morning. They LOVE swimming!
Makayla went to try the hot tub and when she would put her toes in and yelled, "HOT!!!" She did this over and over and over and it made several people laugh at the pool.

After baths and pizza, we were obviously tired and hit the sack early after packing up our car.

 Makayla had gone to bed so early she woke up really early. We decided instead of putting her back to bed, we would just get on the road! We headed out at 4am Cali time and 5am Utah time. We did not want to get stuck in California traffic again and had planned on leaving at 5 Cali time anyway. Well the kids slept clear until Las Vegas! We made it there in 3 1/2 hours this time instead of over 5! We gassed up and grabbed a snack and jumped back in the car. We made it all the way to Beaver for our 2nd stop. We made it about 12:30, ate and got gas and headed on our way again. We pulled in around 3:30 home. Total trip took us a little over 10 hours with stopping. Great time! The kids, especially little Makayla were super travelers! We unpacked and showered to get ready for our ward Halloween Party that evening.
One of the bigger of vacations our little family has gone on, and I must say it was too much fun that I am already wanting to plan the next one!!! I love spending time with my family and I have the best kiddos! They did really well! Until next time Disneyland...because there will definitely be one!!!!
