Day 4

Since we had Mickey's Halloween Party that night, we decided to get up and head to the beach! We stopped by some breakfast and saw our Disneyland friend again at McDonalds! Then off to Huntington Beach. It was BEAUTIFUL. I wish we could have spent more time there because the kids had a blast! However, we had to head back and grace lunch and naps before our next adventure!

Beach Baby
All the kids loved to try and out-run the waves. Makayla would laugh and laugh as she ran away! We only had once casualty...Levi's water shoe to the waves!

She copies everything and wanted to get buried too. She did't quite last to completely buried!

Zack's Food. Even spelled right!
We walked along the Pier before heading home.

Our friend the really scary looking Stork who just looked at us like he wanted to eat us!
After some good baths and naps, we were off to Mickey's Halloween Party. They let you in the park at 3, a few hours early. We wandered in just in time for the parade at 4.

Makayla loved the parades. She would get so excited and wave at all the characters!

We rode the train around to ToonTown since someone told us that was a good place to start. They actually let us in at 5!

We walked through all the character homes stopping to get tons and tons of treats! They had tons of stations and would give you a handful of candy bars at each one.
Mickey at Mickey's House!

Pluto at Pluto's House!
Notice Makayla's awesome "Cheese" face. It is so cute!
 Goofy at Goofy's House!
One of our 3 Minnies at Minnie's House!
After the Toontown ride we walked over to Matterhorn, while trick-or-treating on the way. Zack somehow was let on the ride, even though we found out the next day he was too short! He loved it! Then we headed around trying to find food since everything was closed! We settled on a place with Fish and Chips right by Pirates. After that we rode the Haunted Mansion, seemed fitting for the night, and then Pirates! We trick-or-treated on our way over to the Fireworks show. The boys rode Toy Story while I saved a place for the show. The fireworks were a lot of fun! Makayla had fallen asleep at Pirates and almost made it through the fireworks, but woke up at the end. So we decided to stay and take some pictures that I was dying to take and hadn't yet, and see the villains in the square followed by the Halloween parade.

This parade was WAY better than the one earlier that day. It was cute and the kids loved it!
This little lady waved and waved frantically at Minnie and Mickey! She has a serious obsession now!

We headed home late and worn out, but all in all had some fun at the Halloween Party. It was too hard to try to fit everything in that we wanted to do that night! The other fun thing was seeing everyone dressed in costumes walking around. Just the whole atmosphere of it all was fun, down to seeing different villains around and the characters all dressed in their costumes as well. One I would do again!

Oh! We got so much candy we had to stop trick-or-treating because we could not carry it all! We gave some away to trick-or-treaters, but we still have SO MUCH CANDY!
