Our Attempt...

Well, we attempted a little photo of the kids with the ultrasound pictures we got last week! I am a little over 24 weeks now. The little guy is nice and active and even the kids have been able to feel him. Levi was more aware of what was going on with Makayla so it has been fun to see Zack's reaction to this baby! They will be such good helpers and so good with this little guy. Makayla will probably smother him with excitement! She LOVES babies and I am sure her little brother will know it! I have had a little more ligament pain this go around, it is my 4th baby! I am glad we went to Disneyland when we did! It really only bothers me on days when I am a little more active than normal. Otherwise besides the typical tired it has been a good go around.

We had some sparkles and I had an idea in my head. Well the trial shot worked great!
I failed to have Zack practice and he ended up curling his fingers up and blowing it right in his own face! It was pretty funny:) I only had enough for one shot, so I think it turned out cute considering!
These 3 make me so happy!
From the eyes of Levi...my growing belly!
Miss cheeser. Only when it is not her turn to get her picture taken!

Time Flies!

Well, we have been trucking along here and somehow November is coming to a close! We have been keeping busy with life! With school, homework, volunteering, doctors appointments, callings, and basketball starting up we are jumping into the holidays!
After school homework. Levi does his math, spelling, and reading. Zack has been working on his Upstart program on the computer and his reading lessons with mom.
I chopped 10 inches off my hair. I have been growing the color out for awhile and decided it was time to chop most of it out. I am almost back to my natural color after 15 years!
It is that time of the year for some new beanies, so I have gotten around to trying one of the patterns! I wish I had the arm and time to make more. I have the shoulder of an 85 year old lady nowadays!
Visiting the fish at Walmart. She did not like it when we left!

A week or so ago we had our first snow that stuck a little. Makayla cried and cried when I took her snow clothes off. She LOVED it!

Bad weather beginning has led to several around the house projects. We have been chopping the outdoors, taking down the tramp, trying to put up heat tape on the roof, Christmas lights, changing clothes over in the closets, and just plain trying to organize a little better!
I have also picked up the knitting needles this last week. I am VERY SLOWLY trying to remember what the heck I am doing! But, I think I am getting the very basics at least!
This little girl graduated from the binky a few days before she turned 19 months. She didn't use it most of the day, just at bedtime. The first sleep was a little rough, but it got less and less for the next 2-3 days. She has been without for a week and I have never been tempted to give it back. She has done SO well. I decided we needed to break the habit before she starts stealing it from her brother here in a few months!
This is the face of the girl without her binky and consequently and extremely short nap one day!
Much to Dan's dismay I started hanging up some of our outdoor Christmas decor! I love our new Santa addition, but he has been forced inside until Thanksgiving is over. We call Dan Mr. Scrooge over here!
We are off to an adventurous week of Thanksgiving and lots of family time!

Makayla is 18 Months

The Monday we got back from Disneyland I took Makayla in for her 18 Month checkup. Here were her stats:
22.05 lbs-17%
30.51 in-17%
18.8 in Head- 82%

She is a little small, but she definitely has her mother's head:) She was exceptional at the doctors office this go around. She usually just screams at him the whole time. So this time he was able to hear that she has a silent heart murmur. Levi had one too at this age. They are benign and go away around 4-6 years old. She gaining so much personality and learning so much on a daily basis! She has been popping teeth like crazy this month. She only had 4 and then all of a sudden all 4 molars and 3 out of her other 4 front teeth have popped through this month. She is starting to run all over the place and starting to learn to climb. She loves to dance by shaking her hips and spinning in circles. She loves to pretend to use the potty, and sometimes even goes! She puts her Minnie Mouse stuffed animal on the potty and makes grunting noises for Minnie:) She has 3 obsession right now: Mickey Mouse anything, Doggies, and BABIES! She loves loves loves them! She is not scared of dogs at all and all but runs up and laughs and laughs as they lick her face! Even the ones taller than her! She totes her Minnie and Mickey around with her everywhere, along with her baby dolls. She likes to pretend to wrap up her babies, push them in the stroller, kiss them, and hold them. She adores baby Nora and always wants to pet her and see her toes. This girl is going to love her baby brother! She is constantly trying to say words and loves to mimic everything you do. I complain to Dan that I get nothing done because Makayla has to be doing everything with me. She loves to feel involved. She loves her brothers and tries to follow them and play with them all day too! Hard to do when those two are connected by the hip! Some things she says and does:
-Mama, Dad, Dat (Zack), Poop, Toot (Yes she has 2 older brothers), Up, Down, No, Top (stop), Don't, Hud (hug), yes, she tries to say toodles from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse "tooda", Day-tu (thank you), cheese (this girl loves to eat her cheese!), teet (treat), animal sounds for dog(roof roof), cat (July malu), bird, bud (bug), gorilla she pounds her chest, rabbit (hop hop), and probably many more. We love her sweet nurturing yet spunky personality. She is definitely a fearless little girl, I think has something to do with 2 older brothers! She was trying to swim like a fish in the bathtub the other night like her brothers and was not afraid of putting her head under! She is so fun to have around and constantly makes us all laugh. Especially with her hysterical fake laugh that she has! We love our Makayla!

Even though she looks mad in this picture, this is really her "cheese" face. Too funny!
 Her pose!

 "cheese"

Goodbye Mazda

We said goodbye to our Mazda this week amongst the chaos of the holiday. It sold quick after we got back! We gave it up to a young family. It was our 2nd car to ever sell and it sure did us well! Expanding family means an upgrade it vehicles!

Halloween Week Festivities!

We got a lot of use out of our costumes this year. Shortly after getting home from our trip we jumped back in them for our ward party that night!
Cute little best friends!

The next morning we jumped in them again for Boo at the Zoo for Mack's Birthday! Happy Birthday Mack, we love you!

Monday, for FHE, we carved our pumpkins. With some persuading the boys actually stuck their hands in the pumpkins this year to help gut them! Makayla dove right in so that might be why. They had to keep up with sister!

Since I forgot a carving kit, our steak knife Pluto and Mickey turned out cute considering!@
Tuesday, Zack had a friend party where he was able to wear his costume.
Wednesday, he wore it again for his Preschool parade! They all looked so cute. He was obedient and fell behind the line because he kept looking at me smiling and waving:) Then they all sang a few Halloween songs. Zack and his friend Ashur were sure the loudest!

On Halloween Kellie and kids came over to our Macey's for candy, balloons, and ice cream!
The kids all played until trick-or-treat time! They were so excited to fill their buckets and you could not slow them down! I was tired at the end of the night from all the walking! Love these nights with the kiddos and family!

On Saturday, the boys decided they were done with those costumes and wanted to wear different ones, so IronMan it was! We headed down south for a few hours for the Hegerhorst family Halloween party. The kids always love hanging out and we played some fun games this year!

We brought Bingo again, since it was a hit last year too.

Bumpa made a water balloon launcher for the kids. They LOVED it!

McKay was the balloon animal maker!
I got to snuggle my Nora, and of course the baby lover, Makayla!
We brought our fishing pole down so the kids could fish out the window for the prizes Bumpa and Grandma got them. They were so excited to see what they got!

It was a fun Halloween and we have way more candy than we know what to do with! I may gain a little extra weight this pregnancy!
