Urban Air

We headed to Urban Air for one of our summer outings. Kids were dying to go, so when we got the invite to go we jumped on it! The kids had an absolute blast. They ran around with their heads cut off for at least 3 hours. It is such a fun place and it is always more fun with friends! 

Makayla was so brave and got stuck on the ropes course. We had to get a worker to free her. I was so worried she would freak, but she handled it well. 

The ninja course was where my little boys LOVE to play!

Makayla was not even tall enough, but the workers let her go on her tip toes and ride it anyways. She rode the zip line over and over and her little "who hoo's" were about the cutest thing ever!

 

4 Lakes Hike

Dan took a Friday off and we headed to the Uintahs. We decided to try the 4 Lakes hike near Mirror Lake. It was a pretty tough hike up front and after a bit I was a little worried we weren't going to make it! It was about 2 miles pretty steep for some little legs. We passed one lake and stopped and ate our packed in lunch. At the top we found the snow and another lake. The wild flowers were AMAZING! The rest of the trail was a winding trail down. We passed 2 more lakes on the way. It was a fun hike! At the end we thought the hike was a little over 4 miles. However, it ended at about 5. Those kids were troopers through that last section finishing off a pretty good hike! We stopped at the Stevenson's on the way back for a swim night with family. It was a fun day!
