Grandma made us some masks
Graham did a little too many crazy tricks on the tramp and had a sore neck for a few days.
Zack has gotten really into the Harry Potter series. His cousins sent him home with the animated books and he loved them. Now he is sailing through them!
.

With warmer weather comes sprinklers!
Kids really got into some card games. There was an 8 is great (like uno) phase, a Cover you Assets phase, a Cover your kingdom phase, a Five Crowns phase, and even Clue. It has been fun to see them all play together. Nate LOVES card games. Like he understands them more than I do.
Blossoms are my favorite
I tried my hand at some macrame, it was actually really fun!
Boys hopped the fence for a little baseball practice.
Bike rides to Zeppes happen almost weekly this summer!
More backyard water fun!
This goofy boy keeps us smiling
We had more time to finish up some more landscaping. Filled the garden boxes, spread the mulch, and worst of all the pea gravel.
Tech problems were constant. Dan was good at helping us solve them. Boys both did a cereal lab. School was wrapping up and we. were very excited about it!
Makayla's habitat for her white tiger project for school.
We had gymnastics at home and Makayla really started getting it and having fun. She went from not even going down into a backbend from standing confidently to doing a back walkover. It was fun to be coach for a bit and she really started to love it!

Since there was no church on Mother's Day, Dan and the other bishopric members picked up tons of Symphony bars and they handed them out to every house in the neighborhood. Of course the Young Men who helped all had to wear masks and gloves to do so at that point. Such a crazy time!
These two boys are best buds. Man they can get under each other's skin, but the love each other so much. They are constantly playing something together and love to just wrestle. So many giggles and games to be had!
The kids wanted to sleep outside after Goblin Valley. We let the littler 3 attempt to fall asleep out there. Makayla bailed after the littler boys wouldn't be quiet and came in to sleep. Graham we had to take out and put to bed, and Nate actually fell right to sleep because he wanted to stay in the tent! Well, after the big boys decided they would rather sleep on the tramp, we moved Nato inside so he wouldn't be alone in the tent. The big boys made it until like 3 and got cold and came in too. The were so tired they left the back door wide open for the rest of the night! We will see if this happens again anytime soon!!! Always an adventure!
We ended up trading houses every couple weeks to have sleepovers with the Johnson's. Helped keep us sane during this quarantine time. Kids absolutely love their cousins! We had fun doing a treasure hunt this time. Jett wanted to be a stowaway when we were leaving. I would take him anytime!
Our rose tree was so pretty when it first started to bloom! Too bad the other tree was supposed to be the same thing and came out a completely different color and flower!!!
Aunt Grace passed us the Racoon costume. My kids love it!
Makayla's neighborhood friend Sydney, outgrew her barbie house and Makayla LOVES to play dolls still so we bought it off of her. She was way too excited!
Wizards chess
Dad pile! With no school in the mornings or activities until later at night, it was nice to just have lazy nights. To these boys it meant lots of wrestling!
Gymnastics!
Our neighborhood was not big at quarantining. We were one of a few families that actually did when the state asked us too. We ended up having to tell all the kids that we were out for a few weeks. Before that however, our backyard would get quite busy with kids out of school from COVID!
We decided with some extra time at home that we would get the kids a swing set. We spent one night setting it up and the kids were THRILLED! It has been a great addition to our backyard.
One of Makayla's neighbor friend's mom took the girls on a bike ride to Zeppes.
We spent several nights over at the school playing soccer and at the park.
