After such a crazy October, we have been quite the homebodies! It has been nice to catch up on a few things, get our house ready for winter, and these kids have ridden bikes at least once everyday!!!
Makayla's cousin Kate came over to ride bikes with her. We have never owned a 12inch bike before, so after lots of balance bike riding, Makayla with a tiny shove, just rode off without training wheels and has never looked back! We ended up getting this little green 12 inch for her since Nate will not let her have the balance bike back. That kid is insane of his and if he was a tad taller would probably ride the pedal bike too!!! She is so proud of herself and so cute! She is doing so well!
Sunday night game night. Shirts are optional!
This kid will ride on anything with wheels. Even his babies walker!
Taking care of baby Graham.
I injured my knee playing soccer about 2 months ago. After over a month or so of it slowly healing, we decided with insurance deductibles paid, to make sure nothing was wrong with it. I am still not convinced there was not a small tear considering how long I waited to go in and the symptoms that were there. However, about 3 days before my appointment that had been put a ways back, I was debating on going in or not because of how much it was improving. He agreed in sounded like meniscus, however there were no tears in the MRI. I was relieved. When I first hurt it I tried not to think about having to redo what was a hard trial in my life all over again. But with kids this time!!!
Millie sure love her kids and she sure loves to snuggle!
The last month of church has looked like this. No nursery!!!! He HATES it! I will tell him if he is not going he has to go to sleep. He will choose to lay and fall asleep rather than go. Every week.
Our poor Maple tree we planed right when we moved in got diseased this year. We bought and plated a tiny new one and it made me so sad!!!! It was a beautiful day though.
Makayla literally told Nate she didn't want him to wear some pants he had on and that he should wear these shorts. Then she got him dressed. Thank heavens for big sisters!!!
Mama Burkholder had her birthday in October. We drove down to Golden Coral in Draper and met all that could join for a birthday dinner. It was fun to see family. All but 2 kids made it so it was a fun party!!!
His curly locks. I cannot cut them!!!!
This begged knows exactly where to be. She does not grab from the table, but she waits till it is fair game on the floor!!!
We got the code again with 2 sick little kids, and watched dad on Stake Conference day. It is way easier for me to get anything out of it when I can coral my kids in my room, not worry about them being distracting, and we all watch for daddy!
They all love soccer. It is too cute to see the big boys teach the younger ones. They had a big soccer match in the kitchen for seriously an hour. Even Millie jumped in on the fun!
Zack finally woke up to a tooth hanging by the thread and he pulled it out. Hallelujah! This kid is so nervous and waits FOREVER!
Futsol and indoor take up a few hours of our Saturdays. Besides Zack getting his bell rung a little on the floor this last week, they have both really liked it.
Our back door is hard to open when it swells. Also, the blinds are stuck. So this is what my kids do when they want back inside:)
Now I got both kids riding faster bikes, I can actually do this walk thing!!!
Primary Program Sunday! Makayla absolutely is going through a tough stage right now. She had to sit through a 2 hour practice for the program and it ruined her. She will not go to primary without me. She cried and cried. I had to sit on the stand with her for the program and after awhile I went to sit back down to watch the boys do their parts. She of course came too. She is having a little separation anxiety at times. Not all the time, but man it makes it almost harder when it is unpredictable! She will go to a birthday party, and preschool most of the time, but other days she will not! We are working on it. I am hoping it is not fears from the Pumpkin patch incident a few weeks ago. Poor girl had a blessing from dad tonight because church has been rough for her lately!
The kids did well on their parts, even Makayla got up and did her part just fine! The boys new every word to every song. Bada and Grandma and Grandpa all made it up to see them,. It is always one of my favorite Sundays. We even got to travel down to Salt Lake right after for Eli's baptism. It was a good day!
He went outside to get this chair to set himself up for a show. Don't mind the laundry. I literally do probably 12-15 loads a week and there is constantly folded clothes against that wall.
Unicorn birthday party for this cute girl and some of her friends. She loved it!
My boys are getting older and literally built this bike rack by themselves!
Testing Christmas lights. Dad even got them hung up one Saturday!
Millie got a much needed grooming and she is so soft, smells so good, and I would take her every month if I could!!!
When the tongue comes out that means it is serious business!
I love reading Zack's papers. He is so creative and funny. Apparently we have 7 kids in our family:) I just love my kids!!!
