Braces and Wolf Award

Levi has been having an eventful month or so! After a routine cleaning, our dentist referred me to an orthodontist for Levi. He said he had a borderline severe overbite. So off we went to get a consult. Sure enough he said, "If it were me and my kid, I would get them on." He said the jaw is more moldable at this age and they will be able to successfully close that gap all the way, verse partially later. He also said that kids wear the headgear more faithfully and are more compliant at this age. So a few weeks later and BAM, Levi has brace face. He will most likely have to get a second set of full braces when he is older and has lost the rest of his teeth.  He is so cute:)

 I failed to take a profile pic before his braces, but they say that this will even change as they move the teeth back. We will see!

 We missed a PACK meeting so Levi got his Wolf Award in September. He was so excited to move on to Bears. Here they are howling like wolves for Levi:) Well done bud, and lets be honest, well done mom!
