9 Years Old!

Dan's mom came and watched the kid for us so we could take off for a date! Dan surprised me with 9 years of Anniversaries summary, and some See's chocolates. We grabbed some dinner, and we actually got to taste our food since we didn't have 4 kids making it so we have to inhale it before they need something else! Then much to Dan's surprise, I suggested we do the fast go-carts! I had the need for speed...hee hee. Anyways, we had the place to ourselves and could put the pedal to the metal. It was a ton of fun and my heart was beating fast for a half an hour afterwards! He may have let me win, but I didn't do too shabby! We snagged a movie to watch after the kids were in bed on the way home. He really is my best friend and I could not have asked for a better guy to be by my side! Here is to an amazing 9 years and to better to come!

They were SO jealous. We were so nice and let them keep our hats.

February Randoms

I take a lot of pictures. My kids will never complain about not having enough. THEY BETTER NOT! Whew it takes more time to keep up on all this these days! So here is February so far!

My right hip. He goes where I go! But, how can I leave behind that cute face?!
We got a piano *happy dance*! I have been taking pictures and putting the money in my piano jar. With some Costco rewards we dove in and got one! The boys started piano lessons and I have never been so excited to hear hot crossed buns and twinkle twinkle little star, five thousand times!

 We continue to dress up!
ANOTHER ear infection for this guy....we may have to get tubes if he heads down that path another time!

First dentist visit for this little lady and her pretty smile! She was a little nervous, but did GREAT!
We had a sort of Ohio reunion of sorts at the Stevenson's. It was fun to visit and chat with the different people that were either missionaries who helped teach Dan's parents, or others who were in the branch he grew up in.
Daddy was in charge and obviously was having too much fun!
On President's Day we met the Johnson's at the aquarium. It was super fun, as usual!

The air FINALLY cleared up and us asthmatics were allowed outside. The boys have been on the tramp 2 hours a day since!
We play headbands quite often. Makayla LOVES this game! She will look at her card and then ask, "Am I a tawee?" "Yes, super cute girl, you are a tawee!"

Levi came home with this note in his folder the last week....ya hopefully that ended there and they are best friends (ha!).

Makayla has come down with croup....yay! And Nate has a cold/fever/asthma. I am so happy the sun is coming back!!!!!

I tried the blanket I made out for size. Not too shabby and it was a lot of fun! I think it will go down on our guest bed for now! What project to dream up next for our house????

Valentines Day festivities!

Zack's was the only one that had to make a box this year for school, but Levi and Makayla wanted to make them too. So, we got out our construction paper and shoe boxes and got creative! On Valentines we had an early church, and Makayla had heart hair! The kids woke up to their Valentines from mom and dad on the table. Dan woke up to his at 6am for stake meetings in the car! It was just a SWIG refillable cup and gift card, but he was surprised:) Then we headed down south after church for a Hegerhorst Valentines Party. We played games, the kids handed out valentines, and we ate too much sweets. It was a fun day with people we love!

Valentines Shoot!

I rarely am getting out my camera these days, so this year we did a Valentines Shoot. It was too fun and I am a little partial, but these kids are so stinking cute!!! I love them to the moon and back!
