On Dan's actual birthday we were down at my parents. Lily got baptized that morning. It was such a fun experience being the first grandchild on that side of the family. We just love our Lily and I loved her singing "I like to look for rainbows." We didn't spend to much time down there since the snow was coming down good. It took us a bit to get home that afternoon.
We celebrated the rest of the day by getting some take out and eating birthday muffins. Yes, Dan did not want cake. We are both not cake lovers. So, he wanted muffins! It was a nice, snuggled in our warm house together kind of night. The only thing I like to do on snowy days like that day!
The next few days we shoveled, and played in the snow that the snowplow left us. He even decided to leave a bunch in front of our driveway for me when I got back from church. Me in my skirt digging out the driveway. We love the snow!!!! Well, the boys do at least!
