We started off Zack's birthday meeting Kellie and kids at the Treehouse Museum in Ogden. The kids love that place and ran from one thing to the next until lunch time.
We met Dan for lunch at Chick-fil-a, since Zack's favorite food in chicken nuggets and french fries! And they have a play place.
Later we picked up his cake and birthday toy from Toys-r-us. Then we finished off the night with presents and cake. Zack was so happy and could not stop saying, "Happy Birt-day Zacky, I fawee!" All day long. After we sung to him he has been singing "Happy Birthday" to himself all week long. That and the Little Einsteins song while he is on the potty:) He is too much fun and I can't believe he is 3! Zack is one smart little man. He comes across as a little quiet, but he really is not! He talks my ear off everyday but gets a little shy when in crowds. He chooses to stay on moms lap or play by himself usually. Nursery can be a struggle sometimes because he would rather play by himself. We have a huge nursery! He loves to play trains right now, and will sit and build a track for a long time. He also is obsessed with taking his Orca, Dolphin, and Swordfish into the bath with him and will play there for an hour if you let him! He is very good at his colors, shapes, and all his letters upper and lower case. He has been working with Levi and I on the sounds of the letters while Levi does his reading lessons. He loves to dance to Disney songs on Pandora and has memorized tons of them. He really like any Cars song that comes on, Tarzan, and Lion King (particularly, "I just can't wait to be king.") He makes sure to give you hugs and kisses before bed and when you leave. He will not let you leave unless you do. He insists on kisses on his mouth, and if you miss he says, "you miss-did" and proceeds to try again! He loves the show Little Einsteins right now and sings that all day. If you try to sing he says, "Let me do it!" Taking after Levi he will randomly say, "Mom, I love you." My boys melt my heart! We love our little Zackary and I still am in shock he is 3!
