Christmas!!!!

When we got home Christmas Eve we unpacked and started getting ready for Santa. We tracked him on the computer, got in their jammies, set out cookies and carrots, read a Christmas book, and the boys had to check for Santa one more time on the computer to see if he was to Utah yet before bed:)

We also did a puzzle and watched a Christmas movie!
Christmas morning the boys snuck to the tree and looked before waking us up! They ran up saying, "Santa came, Santa came!"

They were so excited to open their presents so we jumped right in!

Makayla slept so good that night and when she woke up Levi helped her open her presents!

The rest of the morning and early afternoon we were building Legos, putting together race tracks, watching a new movie, and building more Legos!

We finished the day by going to Boutiful to see Dan's mom and the Stevensons. It was a perfect Christmas and we had a lot of fun!

Christmas Vacation

We stayed for a couple more days at my parents since Dan took work off for the holidays.
We went to hear Lily and Todd sing in their choir that Sunday for their Christmas program.
 Christmas dress!

Monday we headed to visit Grammpy and Grandpy, which I failed to get a picture...Then we hit up Classic Skating with Jeni's family, Krista, and Bumpa and Grandma. The kids loved it! It brought back some memories from when we went there when I was little!

We definitely need some practice with skates! Hard to hold up a kid when I am not very good with skates! Should have got me some roller blades:)

They loved the light up scooters Jeni's kids brought the best!
 Traditional Christmas time puzzle assemblies!
Christmas Eve we me the same family for lunch, and then Krista went back to work and the rest of us went to the Dinosaur Museum.

Then we headed home to get ready for SANTA!!!

Hegerhorst Family Christmas Party

We headed down the Saturday before Christmas for the Hegerhorst party. We had our ward breakfast that morning, then Dan helped his brother moved. Afterwards, he joined us at Grandma and Grandpa's house for the activities! We started out the evening by going sledding! The boys were so excited for the first sled of the year and were not excited to leave.

We followed sledding with dinner and a craft.

Then the kids acted out the nativity. They were so cute in their towels and all of them were surprisingly   very quiet and took their parts seriously. It was super cute!
My shepard:)

Following that was the talent show. My boys sang each a verse of Picture a Christmas. Followed by a magic trick a piece. They LOVED learning the song and LOVED performing their magic tricks. They were so proud of themselves, and so was I!
I caught these two cuties and I could not pick my favorite picture!

Aunt Krista and "aunt" Marylou did the glow stick dance and gave out glow sticks to the kids. They loved it!
 Levi swinging his around!
Then we did our white elephant, left right game. Another favorite!
Last of all the gift exchange. Grandma and Grandpa scored with Legos for the boys and a walker for Makayla! Zack has also loved playing the ninja turtle game he got and Levi the Switch and Go Dino. Such a fun yearly tradition and we love spending the time with our families!

8 Months

I was deciding wether or not to take pictures yet because little miss has been sick. She sounded pretty croupy on Sunday-Monday and has been on the mend since. We have kept her home, warm, and in feet pajamas all week!! Then I decided, her eye may be a little red still, her nose may be runny, but what babies is not at this time of year! Anyway, I still wanted to capture her and her sweet self at this quick stage of her life. She is not yet crawling, has no teeth YET, and is becoming more and more of a mama's girl and I will hold on to this baby stage for as long as she wants! She is such an easy going baby and is perfectly happy just sitting up and playing toys or watching the chaos her brothers often cause around her. She loves to be by mommy and participating instead of across the room. She often sits on the counter (monitored of course) and helps me make dinner, or on the floor helping me do homework with Levi or read books with the boys. She loves to play with toys lately and as long as  you are close by she will do it for a long time. She already has such a soft and sweet personality. She rolls all over in her bed before bed and naps, but still does not like her tummy. She eats baby food and crackers like a champ now. She is constantly saying, "dadadadadadada." I think she loves her daddy just a bit! She does light up every time he walks in the room and will just stare at him with a huge smile on her face until he notices her:) She is also pretty smitten with her brothers. Levi can hold her, feed her, and keep her happy. Zack is a super watcher and keeps me posted on if she is happy or not. He is also a very good playmate while Levi is at school! She sure loves her mommy right now and really does not like it when I walk around a corner. She wants to come too! She had to die for chubby cheeks that we cannot help but want to smooch!
Here are the many faces of our BEAUTIFUL baby girl!
