Zack got to go with dad to the Jazz game.
Levi, Makayla, and I all got the flu. Levi's put him down with a fever for a few days, Makayla for a couple as well, and I had bad fevers for almost a week. I have never felt so sick and miserable! The kids popped out of it a lot faster than I did. It was a doozy!Aunt Krista fun day! We brought Makayla lunch at school and she even brought a little playhouse for the kids. They loved it! They sure love their aunt Krista!
Levi's new reading position.
One night after I finished cleaning up the kitchen, Dan had left for a late church meeting, and I had sat the kids down to watch something, I heard dripping. Apparently the garbage disposal backed up and we were flooding!!! It was a puddle around the dishwasher. I was able to stop it, suck up the excess water, and get a fan right on it. Luckily the electrical cord hole underneath the washer leads straight down to the unfinished part of our basement. So none of the water made it too far. These things always happen when Dan is gone!!!
My ward asked for a 4 generation picture. I love this one with Grammy:)
I have really had some fun times with my Graham while Nate is at preschool. It is my first time with just one kid home in awhile! He is such a self entertained kid and is so easy. But, don't let that fool ya. He can turn a switch and be a little stinker! He sure is a cute kid, and about as sweet and feisty as they come!
The boys were so excited to get their own Book of Mormon's to read during family reading. They were too cute pretending to read.
Makayla got into trouble for something super silly one day and decided to write Dan a note. I about died laughing. So funny! She sure keeps us on our toes and we wouldn't have her any other way!
More play time with Graham
He loves to wear his Halloween costume and insists on napping with it on. He does this often.
We decided to go swimming on a day off of school at the rec center. Makayla was like 6 inches short for their slide height to go alone. I was annoyed I had to leave the little boys with the older boys to take her since she can totally swim. So when we went down, I just pushed her ahead of me and she swam to the side. The guy just said, "Well if she is that good of a swimmer, she can go by herself." YEP! So then she went over and over and over.
Nathan's report from his teacher. He is doing so well in Preschool and with Reading Homework at home. He is going to ready for Kindergarten!
We picked up a headboard set at Costco for our bed and Graham was more than happy to ride shotgun on the way home!
Zack has done so well in bball. He gives 110% every time he plays. He had one game where he was hustling so hard and the kids were bumping him all over (kids are just uncoordinated at this age and they tend to hip check a lot). He was getting super frustrated with several big fouls and after one big one at the end, they just let it go since the clock was almost out. He was hustling so hard he was in tears. A guy came up and said, "With how hard you work, I will see you in the NBA." That speaks volumes of this kid and his hard work. We love his determination when he sets his mind to ANYTHING!
This was mine and Makayla's sick days. It really was a miserable bout of the flu!
Nathan's little preschool friend Kyclee. I was too sick to take him to the Pizza Pie Cafe fieldtrip, so my friend who's daughter is in his class not only took him, but took him for another hour or so for lunch and shopping to give me some rest. We got lucky in the friend department when they moved in!
This is our house with 4 boys. They love to wrestle, run, yell, and anything active. The littles boys absolutely adore their big boys when they play with them. Levi and Zack get a huge kick out of the little boys too, so it is a win win!
100th day of school for this cute old lady!
Did sticker nails for the little lady. She loves everything girl!!!
At partent teacher Makayla's teacher gave me her libels results. She has improved so much since the beginning of the year, when she was doing well even then. I was super impressed! They want them at a 130 at that point in the year and she was at a 296. She is doing so well with her reading and constantly blows me away. Even when I swear she is not paying attention, maybe she actually is!!!! Such a sweet stinker and we love her stinker guts.
