Rest of July

Krista helped get us all tickets to go to Cinderella at the Hale Centre Theater. Makayla absolutely loved it!

This ham trying on daddy's glasses
Our ward split early July or end of June, can't quite remember, but Dan was called to be the 2nd counselor in the bishopric. It came as quite a surprise considering it was only a couple of days before the big split meeting so we thought that would all be in place already. But, when the stake president pulled us in his office and explained how his name not only stood out to the bishop, but also at the stake level they knew he was supposed to be in there. I have no doubt that he will be great! It is a brand new ward, so they have been working hard and extending literally all the callings. They didn't even have an office or any books and paperwork when they started. It has been quite the experience! I was a tad nervous to be on my own again most Tues, Wed nights, and Sundays, but I always get those feelings of peace knowing that I will do what I can, and the Lord will handle the rest. And you know what, he definitely has. The daunting tasks are always lighter and somehow I can see by putting that stuff and our family first, it all seems to work out in the end. I love how my kids get to see their dad set an example of service and that they get to serve in their own way helping mom manage without dad. I remember Elder Stevenson from the 70 I believe, shaking their hands and looking them each in the eye and thanking them for that very thing. We have already met and worked with some great people in this ward and it has been a fast way to dive right in and get to know people since we knew pretty much no-one.

We sprayed out the tramp hole and I told the kids we were paying a guy $350 to dig it, they were determined to dig it themselves and get the money. They gave it a good hour and then quit:)
More Logan pics, grandma even joined us for one trip up there and we got ice cream at Gossners

Funny jammies the boys picked at the Lazy One pjs in Logan
Vivi played in the same tournament as Zack on the field right next to his so it was fun to be able to see them both play!
tramp hole. We finally broke ground in this long process of getting a yard in!!!!
 Snuggle bug
Makayla is our deep sleeper. She sleeps in and can be found in the funniest places sometimes!
More nightly walks! Graham loves to run with Millie

We inherited a wagon for all our landscaping needs

For my 32nd birthday, Dan and I went out to dinner at the Olive Garden the night before. Then on my birthday we met Kellie's family, grandma, grandpa, and aunt Krista at the Habit followed by seeing the new Lion King movie. It was a fun way to spend my birthday!

I can't even explain how much digging this tramp took. I hope it will be worth it in the end!!!
We went to Cherry Hill for a birthday party for some twins on Zack's soccer team. It was our first time going, and the kids had a blast!

 Fence posts up!
Cement poured! We spent weeks getting bids, planning, and scheduling, so it was nice to see some of the work getting done
Finally finished the tramp! Had to still move the dirt!

David is off to Africa on his mission! My boys absolutely love him so we are grateful for his example for them. His emails have been fun to read on family nights.

Our neighborhood party. The kids had fun with the face paint, balloons, snow cones,  and bounce houses. I was excited about the street tacos, but they were a disappointment.

Clean Millie. FINALLY! This dirt and mud is awful for this pup!

Swimming party for a buddy on his team, they actually share a birthday but the one is a year younger. Cute buddies!
Makayla started gymnastics and loves it!
