This girl was counting down the days. Like told her teacher every day how many more days were left. She was SOOOOO excited for her birthday. We spoiled her with all things unicorn that day. She woke up to a decorated house and a new unicorn outfit. Grandma came up to give her a unicorn blanket that she made her. We took her to Claire's where she got her ears pierced. Makayla has had the habit of biting her nails for the past 2 years, and with some bribery and some nasty tasting nail polish she stopped. I promised she could pierce her ears if she did, and she did it just in time for her bday! She was so brave even after watching a toddler scream through it. She had to do one at a time and was even more nervous for the second one, but she toughed it out with no tears at all. She was showing everyone those babies all day long and for weeks after. We had lunch at her favorite, Rumbii's. After dad got home we opened presents and had her cake. Then Makayla and I went to the play Cinderella at the high school. She absolutely loved it! And because Zeppes is crossed the street we could not deny her the dessert of her dreams. It was a great day spoiling my girl. We love our sweet yet sassy, independent minded, puppy and kitty loving, music singing, make believing 6 year old.
