We decided with all the antibiotic allergies developing and his ear infections that just won't quit till they pop, that we would place another set of tubes before the year ended. So, a week or so before Christmas we took Nate in. You would have thought he was going to Disneyland he was so excited. He remembered the slushees and the stuffed animal from last time and was so excited about that! He walked in with a smile on his face and it never left. He was absolutely hilarious. The doctor and nurses got a huge kick out of him and his excitement. That is our Nate! They came and told us after they took him back that he was the best kid they've had. He didn't cry at all and did everything they said with a smile on his face. The doctor said the nurses were gushing over his movie star looks and even snuck in to get a look at him. He woke up without a single tear and came back to us as happy as a clam. It was too funny. That was a change from the first time that is for sure! We were happy our little guy was feeling much better and should be for awhile. They put some more flexible tubes in that should last longer this go around. He got his beloved lion, slushee, and plenty of popsicles.
