With sending puppies, we tried to make up for it a little by going a little overboard for Christmas this year. As you can see by their reactions, we had a fantastic time watching these kiddos open their gifts. They were bouncing with excitement, but surprisingly didn't wake up TOO early. We were able to have our homeade cinnamon rolls (thanks to a friend) and read the scripture story before letting the kids bread down the wrapping paper wall. Some highlights from this year was Levi getting his Anki, Zack Bayblades, all the kids scooters, Wii Switch, laser tag, Makayla's puppy surprise, Nate's Rescue Bots, Graham train track, and probably the best was the Motorbike. We spent the entire day building and playing hard! I love the time together on Christmas. It always goes too fast! We drove down for Christmas dinner at Grandmas and Millie found the funnies spot to ride home:)

Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve we met the Johnson's at the ice rink in Bountiful. The kids did really well and with 9 kids between us, it actually was a lot of fun! Makayla was even able to skate without the pushcart after a bit. It was a good start to the day! We spent the rest of the day playing in the snow (those pics are in the puppy post), watching Christmas movies, and eating some grub. The kids tracked Santa, gave eachother the gift they drew names for. We set cookies out for Santa, Levi created an unsuccessful trap for Santa, and the kids had a slumber party. In between we washed puppies and sent them off to their new homes.
