September In a Nutshell

I decided to just plop all of September in one really long post, so enjoy!

We have enjoyed the last bits of our garden, carrots, corn, and cucumbers were among the favorites!
 Big brother snuggles
Our sweet Millie turned 3! She has had quite the adventure and is such a trooper about it all. We have loved having her as part of our family. She really is such a good dog with kids and puts up with our craziness so calmly. She loves people and we love her!

 More jam!
Soccer games were a tad rough this season for both boys. Their teams won a few of their games, but with both their teams bumping up to the A brackets this season, I would definitely say it was a team building season!
Got a vanity for the bathroom downstairs. With working on getting this house ready to sell hopefully in the next few months, Dan is really starting to buckle down on a few projects to finish up!
Zack came up with pogo stick basketball and it has been all he does when he gets home. That kid has some made pogo stick skills and Levi does everything Zack comes up with.

Car emissions with 5 kids. Good thing they were REALLY fast!

I found a mural on the wall and when I asked Graham if he did it, he immediately started to cry! He is such a softy, but you cannot take your eyes off him for a second! He has this tiny mischievous half smile because he knows it!

 Cool dude!
Makayla started her tap/ballet/tumbling class. She was excited to try something different and she looked pretty cute too:)

School uniforms can be so fun with a girl!

I have no idea who she gets these faces from????

 Projects!
We bought a cheap bike off KSL and it has been pretty fun to go on some bike rides with the kiddos

No more bottles for this big boy!
We go through a lot of bananas in this house!

Another Aquarium visit on a day off, followed by lunch with dad!

Pinewood derby time. The boys had a lot of fun building their cars with dad!
Grandam and Grandpa came up one Saturday and hit some of the kids games. They bounced around catching some of each of theirs since we had 3 close together. Then we hiked to see some leaves. It was a little early in the season, but we found some! It was fun to get out and go for a walk! Afterwards we grabbed a bite to eat and the kids played at the Apple Store.

Makayla has a hard time leaving mom and dad. She has for probably a year now. Some weeks she waltzes right in and other weeks, her primary teachers have to bring her to me crying. It has been a roller coaster with primary, babysitting, and school sometimes. Well, mom has a heart, but I could see some manipulation in play at church. So one Sunday, when she just wanted to come with mom and dad (she wanted the one on one time), I told her she could stick her nose to the wall till she was ready to go to class. After five minutes, she gave me a big hug, said she was ready and waltzed right into class. We have had small worries ever since, but she goes! Poor girl gets a little anxiety every time we drop her off to school, dance, and  primary, but she is learning to work through it. It has been hard because we would just let her come with us on those weeks for months. But, she was totally fine! Then she started to use it to her advantage and we couldn't keep that up. She started to refuse to go AT ALL. Hence the nose to the wall. It was a hard transition on us all, but she is a tough cookie and we are all doing much better now!
 Painted their derby cars
Lots of time outside with the good weather!
 Santa!!!!

Millie started showing some pregnancy signs!
Pinewood derby. The boys only got to race 4 times, and their cars really needed a warmup run to get the grease going. But, after that first run, both their cars were flying! They did really well considering the competition they had. Some guy who races nationally in our ward helped build the top 3 cars, and our boys came in 5th and 6th with less than and average of .03 seconds from the leader. Not to shabby!

Prepping a spot for Millie, she didn't like that spot at all, so we ended up moving it, but the kids had fun playing in the cage!

Levi had a state float assignment, and I found it funny that he was assigned OHIO. Bada even made it better by having some actual Bukeyes for him to put on his float.

Graham learned to wave and it is just the cutest!

Levi taught the kids butts up. So nice of him. Side note: Graham tripped, he was not a participant in this game:)
