Black Island Farms

We decided to use our Black Island Farms coupons Monday night for FHE. It is such a fun place. We had quite the experience right at the first. As we were walking in, there were a lot of people in the main area waiting in line to buy tickets, and more lines for the bathroom, and more for the hayride. We decided to split and conquer and I took Makayla, Nate, and Zack to get our tickets. Since it was crowded I couldn't hold on to all of them, I told Zack to hold Makayla's hand and I had Nate's. Well, as we approached the ticket booth I made sure everyone made it through the crowd and then turned to give the lady our vouchers. After asking her a quick question and as she proceeded to scan our papers, I looked back and Makayla was GONE. As she was printing our stuff I ran to the side of the thing and looked all around and didn't see her. I grabbed the wristbands from the lady and immediately called Dan. After calling him twice I got a little frantic. He had waved us down earlier to show us he was getting in the Hayride line. I thought maybe she had seen him and ran over to him. NOPE! I ran in to the place knowing the only other option was that she kept on walking. Sure enough she had followed a group of people and some nice people had seen her upset and she said I ran up right after they asked if she was lost. She was bawling, I was bawling, Zack feld AWFUL, I just wanted to go home!!! Dan talked me into staying and I am glad he did. After shaking it off, we jumped on the hayride and the kids loved it! They searched for their pumpkins and then we headed back to the farm. We did the corn maze, slides, barrel rides, watched the pig races, and even caught some of the Magician show we watched last year. We got some treats from the food trucks on the way out. It ended up being a lot of fun and I am sure it will be one we won't forget!!!
