This year we decided to let Levi tryout for a competition soccer team, since we were not liking the city soccer league at his age. So, we located a cheaper club to start out with given that he is only 7! He tried out for Rampage and made the only team their age:) He played well and I was so proud about how hard he tried. I was a little taken back when I found out they started practices right away and that we would be doing tournament during my precious summer. However, we are trying to make it fun as a family and are having fun with it. They have worked hard in the heat and unfortunately got stuck in a bracket with elite teams the year older for their first tournament. They got whooped the first two games and actually scored a few and held them under 10 for the next two. Not too bad considering! He is learning a lot and it is fun to see them actually learning the game! We are heading up in a week for a tournament in Logan and will spending the night and doing to some things up there. We are becoming a soccer family and I am not too sad about that!
