October-Beginning of November

Just before Halloween I jumped at the opportunity to go on Zack's field trip to the Black Island Farms. I love to see the boys in their peers and it was such a fun one on one time with my buddy since we got to leave the littles at home with dad!

I have a video of this kid on the wagon ride. He was laughing and laughing the entire time and it was soooo cute!
The piggie races. Our little group started chanting, "Piggie race! Piggie race!" and soon enough it spread through all 6 Kindergarten classes and they had a small riot on their hands. It was pretty funny:)

 Zack's buddy Oliver
That is what I get for having a 5 year old take my picture, but I wanted one with my Zack!

Nater bug being patient till the boys go to sleep so he can go to sleep! That is what happens when he goes to bed before they do, mom does not mind the snuggles!
Dan got a letter back for his basketball he sent money for to a school in Ohio. I thought it was nice!
I painted my heart out with Bada's help watching the kiddos. Got the second coat on the ceiling, the walls primed, and most of the trim painted again.  We have since grouted tile and added another coat of out color to the walls. We just need to tape and cut in the edges!

We went to Emmery's costume parade at her school and Makayla thought the adults dressed up were a little scary!
We had the Monday off after Halloween and Levi has been holding a promise I made back in August over my head to take them to Kangaroo Zoo. So, I FINALLY fulfilled my promise. It was next to empty so they ran around like they owned the place, followed by lunch with Dad!

I decided to make my blanket even bigger so it will fit on a King bed, so here was when I thought I was done and sewed them all together:) It looks SO fun and I'm excited for when it is done. I have to take a break and work on beanies and Christmas stuff so it may be on hold for a month or so!
I buckled when my teeth were hurting when I woke up quite often in the mornings. So, I went in and got a consult on braces to pull down and tuck that stinking tooth that decided to move about a year and half ago after putting on a permanent retainer. I was SO MAD! So 2 days after the consult I got them on my top teeth. Might as well get it out of the way before we start slapping on kids!
Makayla cried when she first saw them, it was pretty funny!
If you look close enough you can see how much my teeth have moved! It will be good, but a really long 6 ish months!

Nate's beanie for the year! It is a little big yet:)
The boys got their grades this last week.
Zack got all 3's (which is Mastered in Kindergarten). His teacher wrote this about Zackary: Zackary is a sweet boy and seems to love school. I am very happy with his progress so far this year!
Then she just listed off what they are starting work on and what we can help him do at home.
Levi got all A's and an H (honors) in citizenship. His teacher said:What an incredible treat it is to have Levi in our class. I mean, come on, what CAN'T this kid do????? Levi is a solid reader, he's got a wonderful number sense, he has a mature sensor of humor, and most importantly, he's an engaged and enthusiastic learner. We love this guy!!!!
She went on to list things they are working on as well.
They both got such good grades and all praise from their teachers and we wanted to celebrate! It is hard work for both them and mom so I always love to see good marks. It makes it all so worth it!!!!
 My squishy boy!

Our Sunday walk happens before dinner now that it gets dark so early!
This was Levi's hat, but it is big so I may just take it!
 Sending the Johnson's goofy pictures!

8 months old. AHHHHHHH! When? What? How??????

This is his talking face. He ooooooo's away and it is so cute!
