Willard Bay Lights and SANTA

Saturday night after MORE painting of door frames, we decided to go have fun. We went out to eat at Outback. On the way Zack said, "I am SOOOO hungry I could eat the whole world. EVEN LEVI!" It was too funny!
Afterwards we drove up to Willard Bay. The kids were excited to see Santa! There was no line and we had plenty of time to take pictures. The boys were happy to jump right up, Kayla was extremely cautious, and Nate was not happy at all!

We had the back half of the train to ourselves. It was chilly, but lots of fun! We rode the train through once and drove through it once. A great way to start off the Christmas season!

Thanksgiving/Holidays Begin!!!!!

Grandma and Bumpa got the kids some cute bow ties and dresses and we met them for family pictures. It was a tad chilly but the kids all looked so cute and they turned out great!

The Saturday before Thanksgiving we had the Burkholder dinner. It was fun to see everyone and we had AMAZING food as always!
We headed down to my parent's house on the night before Thanksgiving since our house smelled like paint! The kids were SO excited to sleep 2 nights at Grandma and Bumpa's house! On Thanksgiving Dan went shooting in the morning. We had a YUMMY lunch with all the traditional Thanksgiving goodness included. We then went to the movie Dinosaur. The kids loved it! They now crawl around our house howling like the cave boy did throughout the movie. It was a great Thanksgiving with family, which I am extremely grateful for. I am excited for the rest of the holidays and more fun with family!
My little turkeys!
We came home and played in the snow we got the night we left!

Nater Bug Is 8 Months!

I realized yesterday that this little guy was going to be 8 months old TODAY! It goes quicker with each kid and I cannot believe how fast he is growing! He has mastered the sitting in the last month, popped 2 more teeth a few weeks back. He wakes up 2-3 times a night...But, he naps well during the day with usually 2 naps about 1.5-2 hours each. Sometimes he will even sneak in a short third one. He LOVES his mommy and does not like me to walk away from him....at all. He loves to be brought along for the ride! He is getting quite wiggly which makes it a little more difficult to hold him while trying to accomplish a task. He gets into everything within 1-2 feet form him! He can scoot backwards and spin around on the floor and you can see he is starting to back up into a crawling position so I can see that coming soon! He is a determined little guy so I am sure he will get there. He is still such a cuddler and gives shy smiles and buries his head in my shoulder. He loves to give big open mouth kisses and will often grab my face and try to eat my nose! Num Num! He talks with his mouth in an oooooo and it is so cute! He really has the sweetest face and a tender personality already. He loves people and smiles HUGE at everyone. He has started clapping too, which the kids love to make him do! We love our happy sweet little man! These next few months he will move on from stationary and will seem so big! I am going to hold on to my baby as long as I can!
