Since I never get my camera out these days, I may have gone a little overboard! We had so much fun this weekend! Grandma and Grandpa made some fun plans with the kids and they LOVED every second of it! We were missing the Johnsons crew since they went out of town. Boo. We headed down Friday afternoon. We grilled up some food for dinner followed by tons and tons of play! They played water balloon toss, followed by a water fight!!!! No one got away dry thanks to Bumpa. They played volleyball, bad mitten, bing bag toss, frisbee, a ball game, nail painting, and more. We had a fire for smores and popsicles. We got all the tents set up and headed over to the cul-de-sac next to them to do fireworks. The kids all did poppers and sparklers while we lit the smaller fireworks till it got really dark. Then came the fun show with a bunch of aerial fireworks that Bumpa got. Besides worrying about lighting the neighbors dry grass on fire, it was awesome! The kids got all snuggled up in the tent after and were out! The next day we got up and dressed and went to the church for some dodgeball. Levi still says, "Dodgeball is SO much fun! Can we do it again today?" They played basketball and kickball after all of us adults were sweaty enough to quit. My arm was sore the next day... After dodgeball we had some pizza for lunch and the kids had a naps/game time. Afterwards they had a cute bike parade around the cul-de-sac. They decorated their bikes and instead of handing out candy we just threw it in the air at the end and they crazily shoved it in their bags! We hit up In-N-Out for dinner and then some of us headed home. It was a tiring, eventful, and fun filled weekend!!!!
