Big Boy Food!

Nate tried Rice Cereal for the first time today. Just like all the other kids, he was not a fan! But, I did get some stats from his 4 month appt this week!

16.8lbs-80%
26.22in-86%
Head 17.1in-77%
A tiny bit smaller than the other boys, but pretty dang close!!! He was pretty fussy with shots and thrush, but he was back to his happy self today (except when you try to feed him Rice Cereal)!

July Updates!

Dan came to me and told me to go look at Zack. When I did I just had to take a picture. His outfit choice of the day was quite interesting! Sweater vest as a shirt, silly boy!
Last Friday we headed to Huntsville to pick berries with the Stevenson girls and Bada. The kids had so much fun running around their Grandparents backyard and picking berries (well mostly the adults!). It was a fun outing! Makayla LOVED the raspberries and even though I packed her a sack lunch she only ate the berries. Like a million. She even dumped the bucket and drank them!

Saturday we decided to take some time with our whole family since Dan has spent several nights lately getting the basement ready for the rough end inspection and ready to insulate. We decided to join the Boston's on their hike to Albion Meadows and Cecret Lake up Little Cottonwood Canyon. It was about 3.5 miles by the end. The kids did GREAT! They love being outside and besides a few trips by Zack, they ran around having a blast! The flowers were so pretty and the kids loved throwing big rocks into the lake. That is a hike I wouldn't mind doing next year!

After the hike, putting up a tramp, and a ward BBQ on Saturday, we made up some jam with our delicious Raspberries. We may have several PB&J's for the next month:)
I couldn't help but get these jammies for Nate! The boys love that he looks like a soccer ball and mom just loves everything about this picture, especially that sweet little guy in the jammies!
My nursing has really come in handy lately with all my medication delivering lately!!!!

Not a very good picture (hard to capture!), but Nate got thrush that became apparent on Sunday. Good thing I had some medication from a false alarm a few months ago so we could start him right away. It already looks a lot better!
Makayla, Levi, and I are all having BAD asthma these last few weeks. Makayla and I are the worst! I  took her in with Nate for his checkup and had the doctor write her up her own prescriptions. She is now on the full treatment so hopefully she won't get this bad again!
The boys love to tickle Nate. It is so cute!
On my Birthday we had soccer, doctors appts, and prescriptions to fill during the day. But, we were able to meet the Johnson's and Grandma and Granpa at the Habit for dinner, followed by the guys taking the kids to a park and bed, and the girls going shopping! It was a lot of fun and I will look forward to the next one!!!! Happy 28 to US!

We made our own pizzas today and the kids were just so cute all on the counter decorating their own!

Milestones!

Makayla decided a couple weeks ago she was done with her crib. She threw herself out a few times and then figured out how to skillfully get out! So, she pretty much would be out by the time I got to the door. Out came the big girl bed! She also learned how to peddle a bike, which I have a video for but no pictures... Seems so big now!!!! There is a big change when they are no longer in diapers or cribs that makes them seem so much older!

This guy rolled over and Levi's birthday from back to stomach and has not stopped since!!!! Our little Rollie Pollie was 4 months and a couple days. He is getting so big and long and we just love him! Our super easy going and happy little guy! He has to be with a 2 year old sister:) We love our Nater Bug and how much joy he brings to our family!

1st Half of July

I love the summer days where they discover toys they have not played with in awhile. They can sometimes play so good together! Especially when Makayla is cooperating:)
The boys went to their cousin David's basketball camp for a couple days. They loved it!
 Working on our school books
Broke out the bouncer for this big guy!
Matching hair with Lily! She love her Lily!
 NomNomNom
 Loving on her baby
Our summertime movie was another fun activity for the kids!
 FHE mini golf style!

Nate has shoulder dimples!!!! The Stevenson kids all have them so I am guessing it is a Burkholder trait, but it is too cute!
 The happiest baby EVER!
The 3 amigos eating popcorn and watching a movie
He has the cutest little pouty lip. Anytime Makayla starts crying by him he immediately starts to get sad too. It is too cute and that face is so sad! I just want to kiss that little lip!
Makayla and I share this moment twice a day these days since she is no longer in a crib...that will come later!

 LEGOS!!!!
 Muuuuah!
 Our little Rollie Pollie!!!!
Makayla discovered another way to sit in the bouncer:)
These cuties have been killing it at soccer camp twice a week this month. They are honestly one of the ones to beat. I love watching them play and love watching they have fun doing it!
