LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!

It was Levi's last day of 1st Grade. I cannot believe he will be in 2nd Grade next year!!!! I am so excited that school is over for the summer and sad that my boy is cruising through the years so quickly nowadays! He did so well this year and I am so proud of the little man he is. He is so smart, helpful, and genuinely cares about others. I don't know what I would do without him! He makes mom's life easier and is such a good big brother to his siblings. He is also a great example for them to look up to. His teacher had nothing but good things to say about this kid and I can see why! Here is her 4th term report comments on Levi (after giving him all perfect scores): Levi has had a successful year! It has been a pleasure having him in my class! He is reading at a level L and is reading 123 correct words in a minute. He has been adding in details when answering questions about a text that he has read. Levi is becoming an avid writer. In math, he has grasped two and three dimensional figures and fractions. He has me the goal of solving 25 addition facts in 1 minute. He is solving 18 subtraction facts in 1 minute. Have a great summer and I look forward to hearing about your continued success in second grade!
He has had a great teacher this year, and she, along with most the elementary staff, is heading to the new campus next year. Levi was excited to tell me that she will be the assistant principle over there too! We have been blessed with great teacher and a great experience at this school.

We decided to party hard for the last day of school. I met some of Zack's and Makayla's friend at the new Syracuse park before picking up the kids from school. They played and we had a picnic lunch. I thought there was a splash pad but apparently that is phase 2 of the park and not there yet! We surprised the kids by picking up Fizz drinks again for their last day of school! It was quite the task getting 7 drinks and 3 kids to my car including a carseat!!!! We may have had a little help:) After school we had friends over and jumped in the pool, followed by a soccer game, and all 6 boys playing Super Smash Brothers! The kids then watched a movie and rode bikes and did bubbles after dinner with their friends outside. I would say that is too much fun for one day and that makes a super tired mama!!!!!
