Kiddos

A tiny update on the kids, I will have to do a post on each of them soon!

Nate- 3 1/2 months. Almost rolling over. Super smiley and giggly. He loves to be held and talked to. He will talk your ear off! He still sleeps really well and naps really well in his bed. He chews on his fingers all day nowadays. We just love his chunky cheeks that he is getting!

Makayla- She is officially completely potty trained. She still has her accidents every now and then, but most days we are dry!!!! Hallelujah! Lets just say after a poop mural on the wall during nap time a few weeks ago, mom decided she needed to quit the half in half out and just finish training! She has also jumped out of her crib a few times. I am trying to postpone her just a little longer...wish me luck! She is so determined to be like the big kids nowadays, which makes me a busy mom! She is super funny and has the cutest voice. She will just say, "MOM, MOM, MOM!" (until you look and say what). Followed by a minute straight of complete gibberish. It is too funny! She definitely likes to get your attention:)
Zackary- He is getting taller and taller! He seems to have grown a lot lately to me. He is my "I got distracted" or "they distracted me" kid. He definitely gets distracted a lot when mom sends him to do a task! His little brain has more important things to do! He has started soccer camp and loves every second of it. He also is doing a few days of his cousins basketball camp. He is such a determined little guy and he can do anything he sets his mind to. He learned to tie his own shoes a few months ago by pure determination! I can't believe he is starting kindergarten in a month and a half!!!!!
Levi- Levi is also doing the soccer and basketball camps. He is really starting to develop a competitive edge and it is fun to see him progress! It has become apparent that Levi is left footed in soccer and left handed in basketball. This kid has a hard time deciding which hand/foot he wants to work with!!!! Mom would not survive without this guy. He is such a good big brother and so helpful with him siblings. He is such a tender heart and truly wants to help people and make them happy.

Big Post Ahead!!!!

This summer has been full of fun activities! The week Levi had golf camp, we stuck around and went to the Hill Airforce Base Museum. The kids always love to see the fastest airplane and the shark airplane. Makayla just walked around saying, "Air-pane, Air-pane!"

That weekend in June we were dying to go swimming at the Stevenson's! We ended up having a Hegerhorst pre-Father's Day bash since some of us would not make it down that Sunday. It was so much fun as always and the kids just LOVE to swim! McKay and Kellie took some action shots that the kids thought were sweet!

We stopped with Bada and got snow cones on the way back!
On Father's Day Tamee posted this picture of Daniel's dad. I had never seen such a clear picture of him, and I see so much of Dan and Levi in him!
Playing in the backyard on Father's Day
These lucky kiddos have a great Dad, we would be lost without him!
Another day we hit up the Riverdale splash pad. The kids ran around crazy for awhile before we met Dad for lunch! They love anything water!
This is what Nate does while they swim in the pool in the backyard EVERY day!
Kellie and kids came up last week for a day. We LOVE visitors and it was fun having them up here! We went to the Rush Fun Center for the bounce houses and arcade games. The kids always love that! Then we headed home for lunch and a swim of course:)

Makayla is learning to jump out of her bed and with our crazy summer schedule she is sleeping in random places these days!
This last weekend we went down Friday and met DeeAnn, Kellie and kids, Jeni and kids, and my mom at the Curiosity Museum. It gets busy quick, but we still managed to have plenty of fun! We ate out at Firehouse Subs afterwards. It was fun to introduce Nate to DeeAnn!

After the museum we had an impromptu swim party after stopping on the way home to buy some quirt guns! After the kids got used to being sprayed, they had fun! They played for a couple hours in the water and had a lot of fun!

After spaghetti for dinner, we forced the kids to take a bath...I am SO mean:) The bubbles were CRAZY this time and they LOVED it!

Saturday, we met Candince for lunch. She was in town! It was fun to catch up with her. We miss her! After lunch my boys played in Emmery's soccer game since they had no other kids show up! They had a ball even though it was 100 degrees outside. Levi scored 3 goals and he was beyond excited since those were his first goals! Zack got 2 and was pretty proud of himself:)
That night we did Paint Nite with the girls. After planning this a few weeks ago I was a little nervous hoping I didn't get us into something CRAZY! Well, it exceeded expectation! I really had fun! It was fun to paint and to laugh at ourselves and have fun! We may just have to do it again!

We got home late Saturday night, and we were SOOOO tired on Sunday! Makayla napped on me for an hour!
 I just love my boys!

This girl....she cracks me up all day long! She loves to swim AND make faces!
