First Day of Kindergarten!!!!

He had his Daddy's Priesthood School Blessing.
This morning we had our traditional first day of school Pop Tart breakfast:)

Handsome man!

Waiting to line up with his class.
Zack wanted to wear his backpack too:)
This is where mom struggled. I could see his nervous face and at one point he could not find me in the crowd and his face killed me. I had to hold back tears for too long!!!!
Watching his brother walk into school.
His desk! Good luck buddy we love you!!!

Mom broke down right as I walked out the door. First kid on his first day of school. I was tough but didn't even make it to the car! I will miss my buddy for 3 hours everyday. Good thing it is not all day!!!

Wish He Was A Sunbeam

Zack is done with nursery a little too early! He didn't want to go today, so I let him come with me thinking he would quit halfway through primary and want to go eat snacks or play toys. Nope! For the entire 2 hours of primary he sat in the chair in front of me because he wanted to be like the big kids! When they asked the kids what they pray about, Zack peeked his head over his chair looked back at me and said, "Mom! I say my prayers too!" At some random spot during singing time Zack raised his hand as high as he could. The chorister asked him if he wanted to come help lead. He was so excited and was so proud of himself up there. It was so cute! All the ladies kept telling me how well he did being only 3 and how cute he was. Yes, yes I know he is! I could not even get him to leave his chair to help me in the hall! My wants to be a Sunbeam boy!

Birthdays and Birthdays

We had 3 birthday parties this weekend and made it to 2 of them! Grandma (Oma) Hegerhorst had her 90th Birthday party. We were able to stop by and give her hugs and walk through the house one more time before they sell it. Before the party we spent a few hours at the Stevensons. My kids just adore them. Every time my kids walk in their house they get the best greetings and treated like kings. They love it there and never want to leave.
Us trying to catch a picture with grandma. Levi's balloon happened to be right in front of grandmas face!

Here is Levi blowing his kiss to Oma. She wanted each grandkid to blow her a kiss. When she asked Zack to blow her a kiss he just leaned up and gave her a kiss! She was taken back a little by his boldness and I just laughed! Sometimes he really surprises me!
That night we drove the rest of the way down to my parents since we were already half way there in Bountiful and had Owen's birthday party the next day. That night we put our boys to bed and walked outside on my parents patio to call and see where they were. Well on our way back in there was a mosquito tempting to fly inside so I shut the door really quick. Well, come to find out my parents have one of those locks that you can always open the door, but it can still be locked on the outside. So, we locked ourselves out with the boys inside not sleeping. Luckily Makayla was with us! My parents still being in Bountiful, the best option was the Bostons. They came to our rescue and let us in. Our boys were still in their bed but awake. I will now check that door EVERYTIME!
The next day we went and hit a bucket of balls since mom got new clubs and Levi needs to practice with his!

After Owen's birthday party we went to dinner and bowling to continue the celebration! Zack still does a victory dance after every bowl. My favorite bowler was James. He would hold the ball on his lap and when it was his turn he would take off running from his seat and slide on the ground as he rolled his ball. EVERYTIME. It was too funny.

Love these kiddos! After Owen's birthday party when we went to pick up Levi, I peeked outside to check on Levi outside to find this:
Levi standing with a rocket in hand.
James saying, "OWEN! Jackson won't share the rocket with Levi."
Owen walks up with hands on his hips, "Jackson, you need to share with Levi."
I just love the relationship that these cousins have with every one of their cousins. They are all best friends and I really feel like those boys look after Levi. They are like really close big brothers to him. That was apparent when they both jumped to his side and he was just standing there waiting for his turn with the rocket shooter. I could not help but smile and feel grateful for family and the chance we were given to move closer and have our kids grow up knowing them that much better.

Tony the Tiger and Soccer

Zack is at a really funny age. He cracks me up with all the quirky things he does and says! The other morning when we were eating breakfast he shows me the Frosted Flakes box, points at Tony the Tiger on the side of the box and said, "Look mom Tony says prayers before breakfast too!"
He then proceeded to show Makayla who talked and talked to Tony while mom ate. She had a bath before bed and due to some spots starting go bald I tried to part her hair the other way. Yup, it did not want to do that and this was the result:) I think she can't not be cute!

Levi had picture day for soccer this last week as well as his first scrimage. He starts games on Tuesday. He was so excited for his practice game and he did so good! He has developed a competitive edge and really did well. He is VERY excited for his first game and asks everyday when it is.
Zack insists to wear Levi's old jersey every practice and game (since they both have the number 8!). He tried to sneak on the field the first few practices and still asks to play every time. He stands on the line and waits. Soon buddy soon!

Ms. Makayla 4 Months Old

Makayla turned 4 months old on the 18th. I took her in to the doctors on the 19th and her stats were:
15.6 lb- 73%
23.6 in-15% I came home and measured her myself since they don't do a very accurate job in the office and got 24 3/4 in- 55%
Makayla is getting so strong and still is happy whenever she can sit and observe people. She hates being laid down because she can't see! When she is on the floor in order to see everything she twists and turns and has started turning herself and getting stuck in weird positions. I had Levi walk into the room yesterday and say Makayla is stuck. I walked over to find her sideways in her little toy and her face shoved against the side... Also, when I laid her down for a nap she was busy spinning in circles instead of sleeping. She made it all the way around before I could take a picture and put my camera away!
She loves to talk to you and be talked to. She gets so excited and kicks her legs so fast in excitement. She giggles when you pretend to eat her cheeks:)
She is still in love with her brothers and they both are so so so good with her. Levi is her second dad. He loves to feed her, get her binky, hold her, and talks to her in the cutest baby talk. Such a good help and big brother!
Every night before bed the boys get a horsy ride by dad from the living room to their bedroom. Well, I started having whoever didn't sit on the front give Makayla a horsy ride to their room. Well, now they fight over who gets to give the baby the horsy ride! It is so cute how much they love her.
She has also really started to grab at things. She has started to play with toys I give her. She frequently hands me her binky:) While we were reading books before bed she reached over and grabbed Levi's hair. The boys both thought it was so funny they kept putting their heads in front of her so she would do it again!
We started her on rice cereal this week. She did not really like it the first day, a little better the second day. But, none of my kids really ever liked it. I will probably start the vegetables next week!
She did not react well to her shots this time. She woke up with a fever that night and was very temperamental for quite awhile in the middle of the night and the next day. Can't wait for the next round:)
 My little doll!

 Makayla say "ahhhh!"
 Looks about right...

Bear Lake Hegerhorst Reunion

This last weekend we headed up to Logan to Kellie's house for the Hegerhorst get together this year. We missed out on the Friday events because of budget season for Dan, but we made it up that evening for some games.

When you know you are going to lose you just take down everyone else:)

The dads and older kids slept outside!
The next morning we packed up and headed to Bear Lake. My parents rented a tramp, paddle boat, and we got a paddle board and some beach toys. The kids had a blast! Makayla had a rough moment and then slept!

 Our photo bomber:)
 My sweet family!
 Yes, we are awesome! TWINS!!!!

 My sweet little sleeper.
After Bear Lake we had a pizza party and then the guys and the older 3 boys went shooting. Levi even shot by himself!

It was a fun weekend and we headed back to reality exhausted and partied out till next weekend:)
