FHE

Levi starts TBall tomorrow, so we inherited a Tee, some bases, and a mitt. The boys(and neighbor boys) had a couple hours of fun practicing for tomorrow!
We have have been battling balance in this household with Dan's new demanding schedule, some unfortunate events, and trying to find some time for anything. After our sprinklers broke and flooded a room in our basement, our hard drive failing, and my root canal turning into an abscess, we have had a hard time finding anytime but time to fix these few things. Which has been a struggle. The sprinklers were fixed and then another spot started leaking. Now Dan is still in the process at night trying to fix it. Our computer was fixed this past week, and my redo of my root canal (and hopefully the last time) was done yesterday morning at 6AM! So...we needed some celebration and something fun time together to look forward to.

For FHE we went out to celebrate the boy's hard work in memorizing the 13 Articles of Faith. They both passed all 13 off last week. I videod them and both needed little help in completing them all. They exceeded all expectations when we started memorizing the first one back in December. They have practiced one every night until they pass it off, then we would review as we learned the next one. By 4 and 5 I am so proud of how determined they were to get this done. SO, we celebrated this big accomplishment by taking them to the local FARR's ice cream and let them decorate their own ice creams. They loved it!

McKay's Graduation

This past Friday we had Andrew's family come spend the night and the next morning the guys went golfing. Followed by driving up to Logan, some Pizza Pie Cafe, and McKay's graduation! The best part was how loud our family section was when he walked...and the Aggie Ice Cream at the end!

Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival

Since Jeni and I did the Half Marathon, they gave us 2 free tickets to all the venues, including the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. We pretty last minute decided to head down last Thursday. Dan was working in Murray and we have had a few unexpected complications, including our Hard Drive failing on our computer. So we planned to meet him and take it in to the Apple store. So, the kids and I ended up meeting with Grandma, Grammy, Jeni, her adopted baby on Thursdays, Miles, Kellie, Emmery, and Mack. We had a lot of fun walking around and the flowers were beautiful! Besides being chased by a geese, the kids loved the places to run around, feeding the fish, the water snake, and all the hills!

Swimming Lessons

For the month of April the boys took swimming lessons twice a week at the Clearfield Rec Center. They LOVED it and were super sad when it ended. My little water bugs learned a lot and had a lot of fun. Now the weather needs to continue to warm up so we can practice what they learned this summer!

Burkholder Dinner

We sort of invited ourselves over for dinner last Sunday. We wanted to get the 3 girlies together since they are all turning 1!
We also wanted to check out the Stevenson's new sports court, which the kids love!

Tulip Festival 1/2 Marathon

Well, unfortunately the race I had trained well for up until 2-3 weeks before (knee and hip injured), got rained out. I mean we got DRENCHED! It was sprinkling for the first half mile and then rain...the entire rest of the race. I felt like I was running in the shower. My earphones shorted out a little over half way in due to being so wet, and my feet were so soggy I got some nice blisters to follow. But, I finished and to top it off, I finished in a great time considering the conditions!

The crazies who were crazy enough to run this.

My kids were at the end, but I sent them home real quick since they were all freezing! So was I!!!!

 Sorry for the graphic photos....
I didn't realize it till I took my shoe off and the back half of my sock was bloody!

 Not too shabby!

Miss Crawler

Well I have been spoiled with a full year of a stationary baby. As of yesterday, she figured out her little legs and was off. She improved so much over just one day, I am assuming my days of sticking her down and not worrying about her moving are gone! But, she is pretty cute as she crawls up and pulls on my leg:) Good job baby girl!

April Iphone Photos

So, Levi and the neighbor boys went around the corner while I was sitting on our front lawn with the younger 2. I go to grab Levi for dinner (he was with an 11, 9, 8, and 6 year old) and apparently they had been boxing. Like real boxing! He had a bloody nose from getting punched in the face! All he said, "I don't want to go home yet!" Yup, we had to have a talk about punching your friends in the face!

A couple Saturday's ago Krista came up to play with us for the day. We went and hit a bucket of balls and went out to eat. We love aunt Krista!!!

Easter weekend, the boys digging for treasure at the playground with Bumpa and his metal detector!
 My twins watching a show

For our Preschool Fieldtrip we went to the Ogden Dinosaur Park. The kids love it and the weather was perfect! When I picked Zack up from preschool last week one of the moms who was teaching said, "Zack is really smart! No, really! We did a math center today and he was...smart!" He is very competitive with Levi so when Levi learns it, he tries to too. So, lately it has been simple additions and subtractions and he really has the hang of it!

 Obviously she loves the swings!
