Pineview Reservoir

After a morning of laying sod and getting some chores done, we decided to take the kids on a picnic up  by the reservoir. Well, since the sod took longer than expected, we didn't do the picnic, but we did end up with a kayak from the bishop! We tried Causey Reservoir and it was PACKED. So, we headed back down to Pineview. We were lucky enough to find a spot. We had fun for a few hours digging and taking turn on the kayak and tubes.
the boys got the hang of it quickly and headed off on their own a few times. The wind kicked up really good and started blowing peoples awnings away, so we decided to call it a day and head back to town to grab dinner. The kids had a blast so we will definitely be doing it again! We are now wanting an inflatable kayak:)

Mantua Poppy Flowers/Reservoir

We decided on a little outing to Mantua with the Anderson's one spontaneous day. We only found a handful of poppy's, but the kids had fun picnicking and playing at the reservoir. We found out quickly that we would need to come back with our swimming suits next time! We did bring Levi's RC boat and the boys tried to catch fish with a stick and some fishing wire/hook they found on the side. It didn't work, but they had fun trying! The best was when Graham just fell right in! Then the little girls followed suit. We will be prepared next time!!!
