Mother's Day!

For Mother's Day all the girls to get their toes done. It was Makayla's first time and she absolutely loved it! We had grabbed dinner before and did a little shopping after. It was a fun night! The next day we drove down for dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's. Even Millie got to see some of her puppies on Mother's Day. I am one lucky mama and these kiddos and Dan can sure make a mama feel loved! I have some amazing kids and they may drive me crazy at times, but they sure are my world. We were able to spend time with Dan's mom that next week and made her ribs for dinner on the new smoker. We have 2 amazing mamas that would bend over backwards for us if we need them to. We are blessed with their constant love and their sweet influence on our kids. Blessed with the best!

Makayla's Kindergarten Graduation

The last week of school, Makayla had her Kindergarten Graduation. This tiny girl LOVED Kindergarten. She had to be tough some days and get over her nervousness and walk in the door. But, she always came out with a smile. She worked hard, did so well, and was so happy to celebrate! Can't believe she will be gone all day next year. We love her tiny guts. Levi even got asked to play the Ukulele behind her since he had a sibling in Kinder. It was too cute.

Mrs. Porto. She had all 3 of my kids and is now moving up to 3rd grade. We will miss her in Kindergarten with Nate!
Cousin Kate even got to come with Bada!

Her best friend and carpool buddy Noah. They talk about their wedding someday:)

Wrapping Up Some School Stuff

Levi has been participating in Robotics since after Christmas Break. They built and coded their robot to run through a maze. Theirs took 2nd on the school level and so they headed to Lagoon! There were some gray areas in the rules, so Levi's team thought they had to run through the entire maze, then the last team in their groups bot cut half the maze off and they let them. Soooo with that they still got 2nd place from their school. With all the schools there, they just handed out their own medals the next week at school. He loved it and can't wait to do battle of the bots next year.

I thought they were awarding Levi for Robotics at the awards assemble, which they didn't. But, I was so glad I went because our Zack go the Academic Excellence award for his class. He got selected to take an 80 question math test out of a select few in his grade and he rocked a 96% on it. He is one smarty pants and he works so hard. Love our Zack! So glad I went since I was on the fence with moving that day.

Levi's awards were given at the grade level. He was awarded the Skittles award for his class for always being full of colorful ideas. Then he received his 2nd place award for Robotics. He was also selected as a Dragon Leader next year. Which is their version of a student council here. He had to apply and get a teacher's recommendation. Then they selected about 20 in the grade to participate. He was thrilled to be one of them. Love our Levi!
