Since I am being induced TOMORROW I decided it was time to update this blog! I always thought January and February would drag, but they have been busy busy and I blinked and baby is coming tomorrow!!!!
The girls. Millie loves her Makayla and gives her literal hugs sometimes.
I wish I had been better at snapping some pictures, Dan may have one or two on his phone, but the boys have had a lot of fun playing basketball. Zack is officially done for the year and Levi has one more game. It has been fun to watch them both this year.
My right hand girl.
Nate has had asthma a little and croup this year. His croup was a bad one this go around. I had him sleep right next to me and made several trips outside throughout the night to help open his swollen airway. Seeing your kid fight for a breath is probably near the top of the worst and helpless feeling you can have!!!!
His grin is to die for. I get comments on how cute his smile is. I have to agree.
This was somewhere around 35 weeks. Starting to fill out and get his cheeks! We are excited to meet this little guy!
There was a week or two that this girl would wear her Anna dress EVERYWHERE. We picked our battles.
We spend a lot of time in the car for carpool pickup.
Dan took the boys skiing. They were SO excited and they did very well!
Family outing to Firehouse Subs. On Monday nights they do free kid meals. Felt like we stole something!
With daddy gone to school 1-2 nights a week, Levi really has been a super helper. He took on Dads role of wrestling with the littles one night before bed. It was super cute and they love him for it!
This big belly is almost there!!!!!
We had so much snow this year and the kids loved the snowplow mountain out front. Endless tunnels and sledding happened.
We continue to run over to the church on weekends we find a chance. The kids love practicing basketball and running around.
"Look mom, Millie is pretty!"
This sweet thing had her first day of Sunbeams. She did so well, and we just love her to pieces.
She has the best facial expressions. She must be my kid. We get so many smiles from this animated little girl and she adds so much laughing and a tenderness to our house that we need. We just love her!!
We had a stomach bug at the end of January that ran through Zack, then Nate, and then Makayla. It was a LONG week of very little sleep at night!
Elsa and Anna best friends. They do tumbling together followed by weekly play days. They are cute together and love each other so much!
35 week picture!
Levi, it is hard to see the bruise by his eye from when he fainted at school.
Walrus. Another reason you can tell she is my daughter.
Aquarium visits!
Levi came home with another love note from school. I get such a kick out of these!!!!
My snack organizing. Plus side: kids can get there own snacks. Con: They can get there own snacks.
Makayla went in and got her hair trimmed. She cut off 2 inches, but it still is pretty long! Next time, we may need to cut off a little bit more!
I also took Millie in to get pampered. I like her hair a little shorter for less shedding. She felt and smelled SO good after. I may have to take her in more often. SOOOO FLUFFFY!
The boys had some friends from school over, and better weather, so we finally set up their Christmas present. Tetherball.
Bada took all the boys to the Harlem Globetrotters for their Christmas present. The boys still talk about it and really had a good time!
I spent a few days putting together 26 freezer meals for after baby. I am excited to try some of these and really am just trying my best to make it an easier transition, because lets be honest.....5 kids!!!!!!!!
On Valentines day, we were pretty chill. The kids took their Valentines, teacher treats, and Levi's class did boxes this year. He came home saying he was a little embarrassed of his. HA!!!!!! We spent 20 min before bed throwing it together. Next year, maybe we will start sooner, maybe.
We stopped by 7Eleven to get their Valentine slurpees with the carpool kids. Mom had Valentines waiting for them and a heart shaped pizza. Levi had a soccer game so we didn't do much else that night!
I am so grateful for these 4 little Valentines of mine. We took a few pics while reading books and scriptures before bed.
37 weeks of chubbiness.
I didn't take any pictures, but we celebrated our 10th anniversary. Being pregnant and having quite the busy week, we hired a babysitter and went out! We hit up a restaurant and then went shopping for laminate. I know super romantic. But, so nice to shop without kids!!!!! I am so lucky to have this super human at my side. He is such a good daddy and works so freakishly hard for our family. Prioritizing correctly comes easy to him and he really pushes me to be a better person by his example. I am so grateful my 4 boys will have such a good dad to look up to.
This pouty boy wakes up so early these days, like 5:30 early.
We had our Cub Scouts Blue and Gold this last week. Me being a Wolf leader were in charge of games. We made pool noodle lightsabers and balloons and had Jedi training. It was a fun night! Exhausting, but fun!
While Dan was at his last day of a class, and Levi was at Dartside at a birthday party, we ran a crossed the way for a last trip to the aquarium before the baby comes. It is always so much better on a weeknight to go. Barely and people and lots of room for the kiddos to explore. They even caught the mermaid swimming!
We set up our tramp last week in preparation for a little more time outside and home with the baby. Well, of course just a few days after it dumps more snow. I sent the boys out to shovel it off and looked out to find both had removed their coats. And Zack had NO shirt on!!!! Boys be boys! He enjoyed it till some snow sprayed on him.
