Makayla's 3 Year Old Pictures

We drove around for a few minutes Sunday evening and found this sidewalk. I had too much fun with my beautiful little girl. She is such a doll and I can't believe she is 3. She is such a tender girl who does not like to be in trouble. She give hugs freely and wants to make people happy. She is feisty and can hold her own with her brothers, but on the flip side she definitely brings a sweet side into our home. She loves Paw Patrol, Sherriff Callie, and all stuffed animals. She has a great imagination and always wants a playmate. She follows me around all day! She loves taking care of her little brother and trying to keep up with her big brothers. She says the funniest things and has the cutest smile. She always wants someone to sleep next to her, she is deathly scared of bugs and most dogs, she loves to dance and sing. She is obsessed with her dad, loves to help cook, she loves to read book to you as much as she loves you to read to her. She loves to color as long as you are too. I got a text from her nursery leader telling me that a girl tried to steal her chair, after a tug of war with another girl the leader helped her get it back. When she sat down she said, "Phew, thanks Kaisha!" When I told her one day that Dan was not going to make it he was stuck at work, she got all teary eyed and said, "Mom I go hep daddy!!!" She is constantly saying things that make me think she is 3 going on 13. She is such a sweet girl and we are so lucky to have our little princess. We love our Miss Makayla!!!!

Makayla's Birthday

We did Makayla's Bday activities the Saturday before. We went to a local park and got a train ride around the park. It was a new fun time!

Later Grandma and Grandpa came up and we went swimming at the Rush. Followed by dinner at Pizza Pie Cafe.

On Makayla's actual birthday, after volunteering at the school, we went to the dollar store to get her birthday balloon and she picked out a few toys.

After a soccer game we had our family dinner at McDonalds...not really my favorite option, but we are limited and the kids love the play place!

We came home and did presents and cupcakes and ice cream. Makayla loved being center of attention. After someone would tell her Happy Birthday, she would tell them, "Happy Birthday to you Zacky!"It was so funny. She loved opening her presents and had the best facial expressions when she blew out her candles. We just loved spoiling our little lady!

Randoms from lately

I got my braces off! Hallelujah!!!!

Spring has sprung and we are enjoying our weeping cherry tree and tulips coming up!

We had the Hegerhorst crew come spend a night for their Spring Break. We had SO much fun with our visitors! We went fishing, played outside, had a slumber party, went to the Rush Fun Center, and out to eat. It was a lot of fun!

Dan took the GMAT that day and we are pretty sure he pulled around a 540 and the average acceptance for Utah State is around a 510, so he did what he needed to! We are so proud of him and how hard he works to do it all!

For scouts I have stressed and stressed trying to learn this program, with little to no help from ANYONE. It has definitely been a trial of my faith in this program. It was a nice win when after a month of stressing about getting the boys to talk to a city leader, fire chief, or police chief. I found out we had a retired fire chief in our ward. He ended up hooking us up with the current one who brought his whole crew, a fire truck, and an ambulance. I got all the dens to come and it turned out GREAT! Small successes like this may actually keep me going and maybe, just maybe, like this some day!
