September

One Friday Kellie and McKay were able to come up and play as subs on my team. It was so fun to play with them!
Another game getting a soccer print on my leg followed by a gigantic bruise.

We got sheetrock! The guys spent 2 weekends and several nights a week putting up and taping/mudding it, but it is up!
We painted ceilings on 2 separate occasions, here was after the boys and I paired their room!
Little miss got a balance bike for super cheap and has been riding it around the house:)
 Testing paint!

 Practicing sitting up!

More paint samples and another cute helper! Middle one won:)
We got a disco ball waiting for paint at Lowes...the kids had so much fun with it!
Went out to eat and to see the movie Inside Out this last weekend. Levi my tender heart, was in tears at the end when the girl ran away, "That is NOT a good choice!" He has keen understanding of what right and wrong and also how others are feeling. Such a sweet kid!
 Ceiling done!
My sweet visiting teacher brought us more produce from her garden. So my cute helper and I made homeade salsa!

 Nighttime reading with daddy!

My inchworm trying to make his way around!

I may NEVER finish this, but I am slowly ever so slowly making a blanket for our bed.
Grandma and Grandpa came up for some soccer games this month. Obviously the kids LOVE their visitors!
Bada got the kids some boogie boards. They bring them to church and write notes to me around the house. I am loving it!

These two best buds! It is so fun watching them interact a little more!

 The wiggle car queen!
Makayla is obsessed with Paw Patrol so we got her Sky for Halloween. She was so excited that we had to put it up so she wouldn't ruin it before hand!

We had a week of lots of rain and umbrellas!

We did a science experiment for my sunday school class and created light with a balloon and a light by using static electricity. Levi got it to light up with scuffing his socks!
Another Sunday activity. The boys made new power discs and made Kayla one. It was so sweet that they actually tried to include her in their game!

Krista rounded those who could up for the Women's Conference on Saturday. I jumped in the night before. Dan told me I just should go and Nate would be fine. Such a good guy! Nate is good with a bottle but I always worry when it is a little longer of an outing! It was a great conference and we had cheesecake after! It was fun to have Lily along too! On the way there I stopped at a light with a guy with a white painted face. I had my jacket and phone over my left hand so my wedding ring was covered. He asked me, "Are you from Tennessee?" "Uh, no," I said. "You are the only ten I see!" (I seriously got that pick up line!) "What is that perfume you are wearing? It is so nice!" He continued to tell me his life story while I waited for the light to turn. "What is it with all the beautiful women? How often do you guys fast????" I was laughing by the end of that and told him, "Just once a month. See ya!" AND walked super fast away. But, I died laughing. Too funny! I had to give a talk on Sunday and had to point out that this guy has to see that these LDS women have more than just beauty, they are even that much more beautiful because of the way they live. He just doesn't know what he is missing out on! Crazy guy from Boston here for the comicon!

The Littles

These two have spent a lot of time at the field with mom. They are my right and left hip these days at school and soccer. Sometimes we feel a little weighed down, but I don't mind if it is these two! Having 2 two years and under is busy trying to keep up with our schedule these days!

Nate showing off his two teeth! The top ones are almost there! He is so sweet, sitting up a bit (guarded of course), eating great, and sleeping bad. He scoots around the floor a little bit, mostly in circles and rolling around. But, he is a happy happy and patient little guy. And we all just love him to pieces!

My little helper. Makayla is following me around all day. She helps me clean, take care of Nate, cook, put laundry away, and even accompanies me to the bathroom:) She is Mommy's buddy! I love hearing, "Mommy!" I also love being her best friend! She thinks she is a big kid these days and tries to keep up with her brothers. She will be quite the tough little tomboy! She also is super gentle and sweet with her baby brother and is genuinely kind. She gives hugs when people are sad, she gets upset when she sees people cry, and she will run and give you a giant hug whenever you ask! We love her gibberish and her sweet little voice. She is quite spunky and has such a fun personality!

Soccer Soccer Soccer

Monday-Friday evening for the past 8 weeks have been on the soccer field. Mom LOVES watching her kids play, but I am excited for a little break!

Zack was a little culture shocked when he started to play this year. He was not used to 12 kids on the field, twice if not three times the field size, and goalies! He noticed quickly that it was going to be a little tougher! At first he backed off, but at the end of the season this kid was tearing it up. He almost scored several goals and if he was not on, his team suffered. He had, and i'll be honest, a terrible team. They were cute grass pickers, but they lost EVERY game. Zack was the defender that kept them from getting super squashed every game. He did so well and had so much fun! He is already asking when we are going to sign him up again. I was so proud of him for not giving up! Mom needs a break from everyday at the field, but it will come again soon enough!

With taking all 4 kids myself some Tuesdays when Dan had meetings, I failed to have the hands to take pictures on the last 2 games....But, we will get more next time! He got a super cute photo for his team picture!

Levi has always played in this league, and it has always been pretty tough. It has been good for him! He is the youngest in his grade, so typically he gets challenged when he plays. It is now paying off! It was a fun year to watch since he discovered his competitive side recently. No more distractions and all ball game now. He was so fast and was their best defender hands down and aggressive. He worked so hard for a goal this season, and got one on his very last game! He was so excited to FINALLY score his first goal in rec soccer...it is tough with so many kids, big fields, and goalies. There are only a handful of goals each game now, so it was so fun for his hard work to pay off in the end!
 His goal!

His team picture was sooooo funny. He looks in pain, but he really does LOVE soccer!

Labor Day- Camp Floyd

Dan had family Sunday since it was fast Sunday, which meant NO meetings!!!! So, we hoped in after church and headed to Grandma and Grandpa's for dinner and a Sunday night walk. We slept there that night. We may have stayed up a little late talking with Andrew and Kim. The next morning Dan took the boys to hit a bucket of balls. They just love when Dad takes them golfing. We hoped in and drove out to Camp Floyd after that. We were unsure what we would find but we were up for the adventure! We all got a good laugh at the sign we read when we first drove up, "Camp Floyd is one of the most miserable, disagreeable and uninteresting places that ever disgraced the earth." Ha! And we came to visit it! We got lucky because they only do the activities 2 times a year, except for scheduled groups. The kids had a lot of fun and we were glad we went on the adventure! After we stopped for pizza and dole whips. Dan went shooting and Grandma, Kim and I took the kids to the park after a little down time. We were ready to head back home and get settled for the week after all that!

Love that grumpy glare of hers!
"Camp Floyd is one of the most miserable, disagreeable and uninteresting places that ever disgraced the earth."

Sifting for gold! They got to weigh it, get a coin and trade it for a candy stick.

They taught them how to load a gun and they even shot them for the kids. My favorite part was they kids dressing up and being taught how to load their guns (toy guns of course) and follow the orders!
Makayla looked so cute in her gigantic jacket and hat!

 They put themselves in jail

 Learning all about old guns
 Making candy bullets
 Checking out the school
 All the grandkids at school
