I love conference weekend. Not only do we get to hear great messages, but we get daddy home all day! We woke up feeling spontaneous on Saturday. Dan had promised the boys they could go fishing, so he took them over to the duck pond. All was going well, so I headed home with Makayla who just wanted to walk right into the duck pond so she could hold a ducky. She reaches out and tries to grab them! I for one am not too fond of those crazy ducks! Anyways, about 2 minutes after I walk inside, I hear the boys coming in. When I went to see why they got back so fast, I see Zack crying and Dan proceeds to tell me Zack fell in. I busted out laughing, which then made Zack stop crying and start smiling. Apparently Dan had got him all ready to cast in and then he went to do the same for Levi 10 feet away. Well, on his way over to Levi he heard a big splash and turned around to an empty bank. He ran over and pulled out the drenched Zack who was starting to stand up along the edge of the water. Apparently he tried to cast it so hard he cast himself in the water:) We have to love our Zack who definitely keeps us laughing and on our toes!

Here comes the spontaneous side of our weekend. We packed up fast and drove down to eat lunch in Lehi on our way up the American Fork Canyon to see the leaves. We stopped at Tibble Fork Reservoir first and skipped rocks.
Then off to a campground and another little walk to find some leaves
Makayla was a little nervous of at the river under the bridge
Playing red rover. I thought Makayla looked cute trying to play with the big kids until she got drug to the ground by the chain...
My girl!
Best best buddies!
Oh I just love these 3 crazy kiddos and what they each bring to our family. I can't wait to see what the next one will be like!
Park fun during Priesthood
We made some homemade deliciousness of cinnamon rolls on Sunday morning.
Random but this kid was determined to learn to ride his bike a few weeks back without training wheels after seeing some friends. So, mom reluctantly took them off. He has a 16in which puts him higher off the ground then his friends he wanted to copy and knowing Zack that is a long ways to fall. But, when he gets something in his head that he wants to do this kid does it. He jumped up over and over until he got it. I ran with him a handful of times to make sure he did not fall but he generally needed very little help. I am proud of my determined, stubborn, independent little man and his strong will to accomplish his goals!
